The aftermath of the battle was horrible the remaining soldiers which totaled 50 was bound and tied up.

Alex stared out at the battlefield littered with corpses scattered across the green plains.

Her general came up to her "your grace our dead totals 30 , we have over 40 injured who are being seen too. What is your graces order?"

Alex wet her lips, a solitary tear rolled down her cheek at the loss of her people , she stared at her general not bothering to wipe it away as she spoke "They have fought bravely, died a warriors death, paid man in kind for their suffering.. but their death will forever be etched in our minds" she closed her eyes " Start embalming them, once the medical staff has seen to the injured , have them join. I will in a moment." She looked at the rest of the bodies " as for the rest of our enemies .. they will be released our way, have the souls Rest In Peace in the afterlife.. pyres will be built as we say goodbyes — but our people will be taken to Caletara .. we will have a funeral procession from the palace to the Temple and have the souls released into the light Of his lord Raygon" she ordered.

General Leah nodded "At your command your grace" she hesitated turning her eyes to the soldiers bound "what of the survivors?"

Alex looked at them, there was hopelessness she saw in their eyes, the sight of Rhaegal on the ground cut and imposing visage, and they lost all hope of winning, perhaps even living.

"We aren't barbaric. But this will be served as lesson.. and a warning. The dragon queen is allied with the Amazon women of legend.. we will use them to spread our existence throughout Westeros."

"A sound decision your grace , it shows mercy and acceptance of surrender."

Alex nodded but she didn't smile "Mercy isn't the absence of strength it's because you are strong that we can exercise mercy" was what she said as she walked away and allowed her general to relay her orders. Her business was the grain in those carts, they would need to be loaded onto her ship and taken to dragon stone. She glanced at the king slayer he stared at her with disdain and badly disguised hatred.

She sighed but continued her walking , she went over to the medical tent that was set up and took off her armor to bandage her arm only to find dry blood and a scar in its place. So she had healed, faster than usual. She wiped away the blood — trying to ignore the strange feeling that overtook her in the midst of battle. She didn't know why but she felt it was connected to the dreams she couldn't remember..

After a few hours , the pyres were built and every man that stood against them was put onto the pyres. There bodies stacked up and yet again she thought about war . And whether the truly was a winner. She supposed not.

She turned to the enemy survivors and then to her own warriors that stood in formation and would respect the passing of the dead even though they're the ones that did the killing. Alex's voice was loud as she spoke " These bodies on these pyres are the unfortunate souls that died today, at my hand and at yours. But in death they are no longer our enemies, because they're gone." She turned to Jaimie Lannister "the truth is there is no winners in war, and while you all may be bound and I stand here victorious perhaps to you it's not entirely true. There's no winners not in war, there's only widows, orphans and survivors. So let's pay our respects to those who died fighting for what they believed in, not because we agree but because they stayed true to their beliefs till the very end."

She looked to Rhaegal beside her " Dracarys" a stream of fire blew from the dragons mouth lighting up the pyres in an orange flame, it was beautiful in a haunting way.

Alex gently touched Rhaegal.. " Thank you..you can leave" she whispered softly

She stepped away the strong flap of his wings only served to fan the flames, a loud roar left his mouth as he took to the skies once more. Alex turned her eyes away from the burning pyres and faced the survivors.
