Savannah's p.o.v
The car ride was awkward to say the least. Liam refused to talk to me and when he did, it was insulting. Gabby was in the back with her earbuds in tapping her nails against the car door. A tear fell from my eyes as words made their escape through Liam's mouth. "I don't know how someone like me ended up with you. You're so childish."
Our relationship was like this all the time. I don't know exactly ended up this way, it started out so differently. The cold wind bit my face as we all got out of the car. I wasn't much for parties considering all the drama that somehow makes its way into the room. Also the fact that my boyfriend made it impossible to have fun. Liam dropped us off and headed to park the car down the street. Gabby wrapped her arm around my shoulders. "You know you don't have to put up with that. So many guys would jump at the chance of being with you," she said softly. I could sense concern in her voice. "It's fine. He's just stressed out right now." We walked through the door and I instantly regretted coming. I saw gabby walk off with a guy I've never seen before. "I need a drink," I whispered to myself. I sat down at the counter when someone handed me a drink. "Hey Savannah," he said cooly. "Oh, hi Calum." Calum was in my creative writing and poetry class at the university. "It's nice to see you without your face buried in a book." He added a slight smile. He was pretty cute. We talked for a while about class and got to know each other. It was the nicest conversation I had had in months. "Well, Savannah I've always-" He was cut off by yelling. We both got up and rushed to the source.

I put my earbuds in as I lie across Liam's back seat of the car. Savannah was quieter than normal, she always was around Liam. I closed my eyes for a while before being woken up by a stern voice. "You're so childish." He was raising his voice at this point. I was genuinely scared for Sav sometimes. We pulled up at the Irwin house which could fit fifty of our apartments in it. I got out of the car and watched Liam slam the car door closed. Sav sat inside for a little bit. "Raise your voice at her again and I will talk her into leaving you. I know what you are capable of, remember?" I walked away waiting at the passenger side. Liam angrily walked inside the house. Savannah climbed out and I gave her a hug. I took her hand and we walked into a party. I saw some friends from school and left her. I stood with Zayn, Niall, and Abigail. I put my drink down to find a bathroom separating myself from the group. As I came back I picked up my drink. "I'm just saying its a little fucking creepy how he always stands in the corner at parties watching everyone," Abigail said in her obnoxious voice. "Who are we talking about?" I asked taking a sip of the bitter beer in the red cup. "Luke Hemmings. The junior," Niall answered. "I've seen him around campus a lot... He doesn't seem that weird." I retorted to Abigail. I gulped down the rest of my beer and walked to find Savannah. I couldn't keep my balance and things were out of focus. A door opened up and I fell forward. I was snatched into the door and I had no control as a pair of hands started to lift my shirt over my head and lips pressed to my neck. Sounds were coming to a halt as I drifted off. A bright light streamed in from the hall as a tall figure raced towards me and tore the guy away from me. I still couldn't move. My head rang with shouting. A punch was thrown and made contact with a face. Zayn fell to the ground. "Zayn?? What are you doing?" I barely whispered the words.

A boy from school was on the ground beating Zayn. I rushed over to gabby and put her arm over my shoulder, attempting to lift drag her out of the room. Calum ran and held the blonde back. "Luke, stop! He's unconscious!" Luke pulled away from Calum and rushed outside. Calum's grabbed Gabby's other arm and we carried her towards the door. "Liam can we go please?" I asked nicely. "Find another ride. It's time for the adults to have fun," he spat drunkenly. I rolled my eyes and pulled out my phone to call a cab. "Don't call a cab with her in this condition. We'll take you guys home." Calum smiled sweetly with sincerity in his eyes. Calum opened the passenger door for me and I slid in. Luke and Calum placed Gabby in the backseat. "Are you sure you're okay with sitting with her?" I asked Luke. "It's no problem. I don't mind." He seemed like a sweetheart, just simply misunderstood. Gabby's head rested on Luke's lap as I guided Calum to our apartment. "This is it. Thank you for the ride." I smiled and opened the door. "Do you actually think we are going to let you bring her up by yourself? We can handle her." I smiled and led the way. Luke held her close as Calum walked with me to the door. I unlocked it and walked in. They followed as Luke placed gabby in her room. "Thanks so much for everything, Calum. It's helped a lot. This is just such a mess and-" I was cut off as he pressed his lips against mine. I forgot everything existed for a mere second. I pulled away. "I'm sorry..." Calum looked down at the floor. "No, don't be sorry. It's just complicated right now. How about I take your number and we can hang out sometime?" I asked slightly flirting. "Yeah I'd like that." He put his number in my phone and headed towards the door. "Luke? You ready?" He called after Luke. "Yeah I just had to find a bathroom. It was nice meeting you and your friend." He smiled. "Nice meeting you too, Luke. Thank you for saving her tonight. I appreciate it." He smiled and they walked out the door. I shut it and stood there trying to take in all the events from the evening. I deeply inhaled and exhaled. "Oh, God. I need sleep."
