As the Protector's 4 wheel type car pulled up before Sunghoon's house, his heart dropped.
The front door was left ajar.
Sunghoon got out and limped into his house.
Ignored the warning of the Vampire hunters.
Whose shouting behind him.
Sunghoon slammed the door opened, the first he saw was of his father, in his usual armchair.
Blood drained, his body shrunk like an inflated balloon.
The anger and anguish came rushing in Sunghoon.
He did not even take 30 minutes to get there yet Jake had killed his father.
Sunghoon called his mother, agitatedly walked to the kitchen, it was empty with presence.
Niki and one Protector unit member came inside the house, armed with guns.
Sunghoon rushed upstairs, nearly falls, his heart pounding.
Not far behind him, Niki followed.
Sunghoon barged into his sister's room.
Niki stayed in the hallway.
Hesitating to tell Sunghoon his whole family will probably all die, the vampires would not leave anyone alive.
If they had one, they want more, that was how greedy they are.
"My mother isn't here"
Sunghoon informed, surprising Niki.
The protector's member rushed up the stairs, carrying a letter in his hand.
"They want you to come to Memoria's Peak"
He handed the letter to Sunghoon, but his eyes were on Niki.
The letter wrote
Come to Memoria's Peak tomorrow night. Alone.
Failing to do so will result in your mother's death.
Sunghoon's knees gave up, and he slid to the ground. He swept his hands through his hair in desperation.
If only I didn't go to that darn party.
If only those four pricks did not...
Sunghoon's mind rambled.
"I'll bring you to our leader, he'll explain everything to you," Niki said.
