Part 16: CAUGHT UP

Niki took one last look at Sunghoon before he set out to another car.

The abandoned train was once used in Seoul, now was taken by Hunter's leader to use as their hideout.

They were 20 kilometers from the town of Munyeong, away from the ravaging creatures.

Deep in a forest, through an off-road path.

K, the "protector" unit leader, sprawled on a red sofa.

Head looking up the ceiling.

Seon, a senior member of the unit, sat at the bar's high chair, had his hand clasped together.

Taki, a new member sat next to him, flipping pages after pages of a book.

Niki walked past the car, and into another one, their sleeping quarters.

He saw a glimpse of another member of the Hunter's Protector unit, Kyung Min patrolling outside, through the train's window.

He collapsed on his bed, trying to calm his racing heartbeat.

The things he saw earlier that night were awful and terrifying.

He wondered how K, managed to be calm after being through all that.

His mind wavered to Sunghoon.

Who he really was?

Why was The Hunter's leader wanted them to protect him, at all cost?

As he was about to shut his eyes off, Taki burst inside Niki's room.

Niki sat straight up, his eyes wide.

"He's awake!" Taki cried and rushed off.

Niki got up and strode into the car where the others gathered.

Sunghoon sat next to K on the red sofa.

Confused and restless.

"We told him about those-" Seon said and faltered.

"We" re here to bring you away from the creatures, our leader commanded us to do so" K explained.

"You guys must find my family and my friends! Those things will-" Sunghoon protested.

K pursed his lips and shut his eyes, his fist clenched.
He wanted to finish the rescuing job swiftly.

"We'll find your family" Niki said softly.

K narrowed his eyes to Niki.

"AAAHHHHHH!!!"

'Kyungmin Hyung!!" Taki shrieked.

Splattered on the window was blood.
