"It will never be" chapter 7

April’s POV:

Zayn looked at me in shock. “Um, yeah, I’ll take you there.” He says.

“Actually, I kind of wanted to go….By myself?” I ask as he nods knowing that I wanted privacy for a little while.

He gave me the address as I walk back into the house.

“I’m sorry.” Says Harry as I nod.

“You didn’t do anything wrong Harry, I should be sor-

Harry’s POV:

I kissed her…. I just plain straight up kissed her. I couldn’t hold it in anymore. I didn’t want Zayn taking her, I wanted April so badly. No one else could have her.

We kissed for what felt like a split second as I had just noticed where I was.

We pulled away and looked around the room both embarrassed.

Zayn was the most shocked. I smirked at his face. April was blushing so much.

“Well then!” yells Louis which makes us all laugh.

How come everyone was acting like it never happened?

I look back at April who is sheepishly smiling at me, staring in my eyes.

“Yes.” She says, as I know what that means. I’ve waited two years for this moment. I pick her up in my arms and spin her around as she giggles.

“Well what was that all about?” Asks Niall.

“We’re officially together.” I say grabbing her hand as Zayn is glaring at me.

“YAAAAAAAAY!!” yells Liam……Well that was interesting…

“Um, Harry I have to ask you something.” Says April whispering to me.

“Sure, anything.” I say giving her hand a slight squeeze knowing I was there and nothing could bother me right now.

“Could you take me… To my mom after tonight?” Asks April.

“Sure, I will.” I say kissing her forehead as my mum walks in.

“Oh, well everythings set.”

“FOOD!!” yells Niall.

“Hah, is he always like that?” April asks me.

“ALWAYS.” I say as she laughs from my response.

After that we were just asking random questions as we talked about our adventure, and moments with our fans.

I loved seeing April like this. She was so much….Happier. No more sadness, no more crying, or pain, she looked like she was actually enjoying life.

We helped my mum clean up the mess we created… more like Nialls mess.

They all wanted to watch a movie. The movie they picked was titanic. Really? A sad story when its supposed to be a fun night? Whatever they’re weird.

“Um, you think you could take me now…Please?” Asks April as I nod in response and take her hand as she blushes and I do the same back. Goodness the things this girl makes me do.

“Mum, I’ll be back in 20.” I say as she replies with a yes.

“Oooh what are you guys going to do?” Louis makes kissy lips.

“Absolutely nothing.” I say sticking my tongue and everyone laughs.

I open the car door for April as she thanks me. I hop in the drivers seat and start the engine as I look at her.

She has concentration in her eyes. I touch her hand as she jumps a little. I give her a soft smile as she responds the same.

I drive away and play slow soft music. We arrive and she looks out the window, as I can tell she wants to be alone right now.

She walks out and thanks me again and walks away….

April’s POV:

I walk around the graveyard.. My eyes start watering. I don’t want to see my mom, why did I come here…. I’m going back….No, I want to see my mom.

I look at all the names of people who have died. A tear streams down my face as I see what I never wanted to see.

It says.

RIP

Annabella Eliot

1962-2010

I kneel down in front of it and trace the words as numerous tears fall, not wanting anyone to hear me.

I broke down and cried, I couldn’t hold it in anymore. I saw my mom right now, I had a few words to say to her.

“Hey mum, well, how is it up there? Well, um I guess I’m doing ok, maybe not as good without you…..I miss you mum a lot. I should have gotten to that fire earlier, I could have rescued you mum and I’m…..I’m so so so sorry. I love you mum and it’s all my fault.”

I finish my speech to her as I put my face in my hands and grasp for air starting to get hiccups.

I feel arms wrap around me as I jump I’m so scared. It was only Harry.

“It’s not your fault.” He says as he rocks me back and forth in his arms.

“It will never be.” He finishes as I just cry in his arms…
