Evening Stroll

Espresso's POV:

As I walked by the cafe I sighed, I looked back at the gentle warm light slowly disappearing from behind. The sun was setting, the warm colors of the sky were now replaced with nice hues of blues and some purples and pinks, I stared at the sunset until it was fully blues. I was lost in thought during that,

Fuck. That guy is still on my mind, he was off my mind for a while now. I inwardly sigh as I hurry up to my apartment, it's starting to get chilly I should be home now, I quickly check my watch

I quickly sprinted towards my apartment building saying sorry to anyone I bumped into, I got to the front door huffing and puffing, I fumbled around getting my keys out of my pocket and unlocked the door. As I walked by the front desk I said " Good evening" then I entered the elevator heading towards my floor. I feel my eyebags drag on as I open my door gently throwing my papers and shit on my work table. I heat up a kettle of coffee, as I wait for it to boil it a bit I take out my phone and text Latte

Ess: Hey Latte how have you been?

Latte: I've been doing quite well! A couple friends have helped me find a job as a teacher!

Ess: Oh! Who are these "friends"?

Latte: Almond and Madeleine!

Ess: Madeleine?

Latte: Yeah! He's a new body guard of the Legendaries, I heard he's moving into your apartment building soon

Ess: Hm, maybe I might meet him walking around here. Oh well!

Latte: Sounds nice, well I have to leave now! Text ya later~

Ess: Alr, see ya

I put down my phone as I turn off the burner of my stove, I pour in some coffee in my mug, I blow the top of the cup knowing that it won't cool down my coffee. I take a long sip enjoying the taste of my coffee, the perfect balance of sweet and bitter, the nice warmth of the cup, perfect.

I organize my papers and notes, I notice a small doodle, his eyes

This is starting to get annoying. I put the doodle aside as I finish cleaning up my shit. I put everything in a neat pile then walk into my room, I take my glasses off then proceed to fall asleep
