Mari POV
I groaned as I put the boxes in my car "so why are we moving again?" I asked irritated and slammed my trunk. "Because your dad got a better job and you have to move with us" I rolled my eyes "what ever." I got in the car and waited for them to pull out then I followed them. It sucked that I was moving but it's still California though, the way there was eternal driving my legs where falling asleep. I let out a sigh when i saw the exit to Santa Carla i could finally stretch. The pier looked nice there was rides and lots of people walking. I drove for a few more minutes until i got to this two story house, I parked her car and looked at the house it was big spacious enough to throw a party. "Well it ain't that bad I guess." I shrugged and opened her trunk getting her boxes, I walked inside the house and went upstairs to get a room. There was three rooms and i chose the second biggest room and dropped my boxes. I looked out the window and could see the sunset pretty good from there. I put up my posters around my room and put my record player next to my bed.The sun was setting and I put on red high waisted jeans with a black tank top and her leather jacket. I put on my leather jacket and walked out of my room. "I'm going to the pier and take a look I'll be back later" I said and started to walk towards the pier. The lights from the pier started to turn on once I was near. I started to look around and saw nothing entertaining besides a rock band singing on stage. I rolled my eyes not my kind of music and kept walking some people bumped into me but I ignored them. I was near a kiddy ride when I saw a group of guys getting kicked off of it by the security guard. Non of them caught my eyes until I saw the blond headed guy that looked my age he gave me the chills but in a good way. He looked at me and we made eye contact for a few second until I walked past him. I felt like people were staring at me and I tried ignoring and walked into a bar with my fake ID.
After a few beers I decided it was time to go home and I walked out there was a few people still walking around the pier but the guard started to kick them out. I followed the people and the lights slowly started to turn off I zipped up my jacket as the cold breeze hit me. After a while I heard a scream coming from the parking lot "shit." I didn't have my blade with me so I started to run. I got home and slammed the door behind me "fuck what the fuck" i thought for a while and went up her room trying to forget the scream. I fell on to her bed and locked at the clock it was 1 am. "Man I'm tired." I closed my eyes falling asleep slowly I had a weird dream the guy I saw from the pier. Why is he holding me so close to him I could feel his leather jacket and I woke up.
David's POV
When I got of the stupid ride I saw this brown headed girl looking at me we made eye contact and i could hear her heart beat. She walked pass me and I stared at her and the guys where also staring at her. I growled "let's go!" I said and began to walk around the pier listening to the music. I kept thinking about that girl I have never seen her before she must be new.
The pier was shutting down and the hard was last to leave or we thought he was. We attacked him and he screamed as Marko picked him up in the air I saw a person running and I was ready to attack them. I flew close by but the person ran inside a house and I flew around looking to see who it was. I got to a window and saw a girl laying on her bed. It was the same girl that was looking at me at the pier I stayed for a while longer until dawn came and I went back to the cave with the guys. I went to our rooms "hey David what took you so long?" Marko asked as we climbed to our beds "I was just looking for food." I lied and I felt my eyes getting heavy and closed them falling asleep.
