Chapter 2- Her

Courtney's POV

Oh god it's such a mess in here, someone was probably fixing herself up

"Sorry for the mess girls, I promise to clean right after I'm done" Ali says, trying to wipe off what seems to be mascara off the mirror.

"Make sure to do it then, we have about 10 minutes so we can catch up to JC and Hayes at the mall" Gracie says, as she is also fixing up, known for being well dressed and shit.

"I'll have to skip, sorry girls, I've gotta edit more videos for today and have more ready for tomorrow" I tell them

"But I'll be editing my videos too but yet I'm going out, c'mon, don't be such a downer" Ali says

"Yeah, I'm heading for vines tomorrow, I'm just going to chill for today and go out with Hayes, obvioisly, join, please?" Gracie says, trying yo convince me she shoots me a funny glare, Ali catching up follows up by wiggling her eyebrows.

I giggle

"I'm sorry girls but I really don't want to go out right now, I'm kinda busy and I want to have a time alone in the park so I can concentrate for new ideas" I tell them, "plus I don't have a solid boyfriend to hang out with" I added

"Are you kidding me, we both know that you've got a variety of guys who want to at least hang out with you" Gracie says, Ali nods in agreement

Leah, Taylor, Mulana, Angelica arrive

"Hey girls what's up" Leah says

"The sky..." Ali says

"No shit Sherlock" Gracie comments

"What brings you all here? Is there a reunion up in here or?" I ask

"No, just looking forward to taking care of your guys' department" Taylor says

"Oh, why thanks" I say

"Oh I asked them to come here and take care while we're out, but you're already staying here all day like a loner apparently" Gracie says

"No, I'll also be leaving to the park later on" I respond

"Whatever, that's boring" Ali says, "but if you want to go out again some time, just ask" she adds

"Okay", "aren't you going to be late though?" I ask

"fashionably late babe" Ali says

"Of course you would" I say while rolling my eyes

Ali and Gracie leave

"So, are any of you going somewhere too? Sorry for making you all come here, she hadn't told me about it" I tell them

"It's fine, I'm going to meet up with a girl I met online" Angelica says

"Yeah this is the 4th one of the month" Mulana says

"4th what?" I ask

"Oh, uhm, monkeys, monkeys, emojis that Gracie has sent me in all month" Mulana corrects herself

"Oh-kay" I say, "I'm going to leave in about half an hour, is that okay?"

"Yeah, no problem, Mulana and I will be having everything under control here" Taylor says

"Thank you again for coming all the way to here" I tell them with an apologetic face

30 minutes fly by
Arrived the park

Ah, finally sometime alone, I feel like it's been forever since I've been alone. Feels good to express my ideas all to myself right now. The wind and the clear sky making me remember what to do with my life, ideas flying all over my head, filling me up with originality. All of this makes me feel, free, energetic, so many ideas at once I can't even- my thoughts are interrupted by a guy bumping into me

"Oh god- I'm so sorry" he says, he seems so familiar, I can feel

"Oh no no, it's alright, I wasn't paying attention either." I say, I instantly feel guilty

I can't remember who this is, but I swear I've seen him before.
Oh, my, that blue eyed bitch, I THINK I KNOW

"No really it's okay...hey, do I know you?" I say, hoping it's the person I think it is

"That's exactly what I was wondering, I mean, not that I don't know who I am, but I was about to ask you the same thing." I tell her, "I'm Ian, Ian Hecox." He says, oh that silly old Ian, I knew it

"Oh. My. It's you! I just knew it! How to forget those sky blue eyes! it's been such a long time since I've been you Ian." I say, oh how good it feels to reunite with my old bestie

"Yeah, but you haven't told me who you are, I can't quite remember honestly, but I can recognize you a little I swear" Ian says

Who am I, haven't quite defined it myself

"Oh I'm Courtney Douglass, remember that one movie we did when we were young?" I tell him, he probably doesn't even recognize me since all the appearance change, or as people call it pubert, eww, it sounds plain disgusting.

"Oh my god, yes of course I remember" he responds, phew thank god, I would look like a creep if it wasn't for him recognizing me.

"Yeeesss" I say, and I hug him, him hugging me back, oh what a feeling of distress

We ended up talking about our life after the movie, which included Ian talking about his life in Smosh and teaming up with Anthony back when they started, his experience of being a recognized Youtuber, must feel good. Id tell him about my life as a yotuber too and how I cover famous songs for a Hobbie since I'm not that recognized. While he was telling me about his friend Anthony, he stopped talking for a second and explained

"Hey Courtney, I'm sorry, I've gotta go to my friend Anthony, I kind of accidentally ditched him" Ian says

"It's okay, I hope we could meet up again, it was really nice meeting up with you again, really." I tell him, and honestly, I enjoyed talking to him so much

"Here, give me your phone" he tells me. By his looks I can tell he's a person that cares about his appearance, that's nice. I hadn't realized how blue his eyes looked with that blue t-shirt of his he's go o-

"I'm not going to do anything bad, I swear" he says and smiles, I hadnt realized I was starring like a dumbass, I giggle, he's so humorous, I'm lovin it

"Okay" I giggle again, why, he's so charming.

"Her ya go" he tells me and hands me the phone, "see you soon, pleasure to reunite with an old friend"

"Same to you, really nice meeting you again Ian" I tell him

Arrive home

I search through my phone to check what he had typed. I searched through my notes, he typed "thnks fr th mmrs" I grinned a little. Then I checked through my contacts and saw the name "sweetest Ian", I smiled even more.

"What are you smiling at?" Ali asks

"Porn, obviously" I tell her

"Eww, you're so gross. Just kidding I love you, but what are you smiling at, new guy?" Ali continues

"Oh, just an old friend, a hot old friend, no biggie" I tell her

Well that's something, I realized.

I can't stop thinking of how much he's changed, how much I've changed. The difference of age is almost intangible..not that it's tangible though. He's making me so confused. His eyes is all I can think of, that smile of his, his humour, nice.
