Malacañang Palace - Dining Room

It is a quite dinner for the three children. The only sound that can be heard are the clicking of the utensils. No one dared to address the elephant in the room.

17 y/o Imee is watching her two siblings closely. The deafening silence of the two is worrying her a little. Bong bong's outburst yesterday had surprised her. She is not used to seeing his brother losing his temper.

Bong bong, now 15 y/o, had never, not even once, raised his voice to any one

'I'm sorry...'

Both Imee and Irene looked at Bong bong

When neither of the two responded, he continued

'I know..... mali yung ginawa ko kagabi. Hindi ko dapat sinigawan si Kuya Ambo'

Kuya Ambo is the long-time personal bodyguard of Bong bong. When they first moved in the palace, Ambo was assigned to be his personal bodyguard, and he still is, even after seven years.

'Wala naman sya kasalanan, ginawa nya lang yung pinag utos sa kanya'

Imee was happy to hear him say it. For a moment there, she thought that he became a different person. She's glad he came back to his senses

'Yea, you were wrong. Pero naiintindihan ko, kasi kahit naman ako gusto ko rin makita si mommy'

'But Bonget, we always have to watch our temper. Maraming mga mata ang naka bantay sa'tin. Kahit pa nasa loob tayo ng palasyo'

'Mom and Dad always remind us to remain calm on every situation'

'No matter how bad the situation is '

She finished. Bong bong just looked at his ate

'What time are they supposed to be here? Akala ko, hapon nandito na sila'

Irene interjected

'They're secretary called. She said, may need daw gawin pero on their way na sila'

Imee smiled to her

Irene just nodded and continued to play with her food. She's barely eating, and so is her, and Bong bong.

But Irene even more so.

Her youngest sister was the biggest mess among the three of them, and it doesn't surprise her

Irene was practicing on her piano for her music rehearsal when she saw the news on the T.V

She came running to Imee's room and started crying, and she hasn't stopped since. Not even after the call of their father informing them of their mother's well-being

Imee even had to sleep in Irene's room that night because she wouldn't stop crying

She feels bad for her little sister. She is only 12 y/o and she already experienced all of it

It must have given her a trauma after she saw the videos of the attacked. Imee saw it too, and she was frighten by it, what more of her sister?

'We're home!'

They all turned their heads to see both their parents by the door

Irene was the first to leave the table and ran straight to her mother
