Asalamualaikum beautiful people! 😄

Hope you are all well!

Aamal's POV:

I woke up quite late in the morning. It was 11:00 and I was freaking out like it's not like me. On top of everything Ahad's not her meaning that he must have gone to work ages ago.

I freshen up and get changed. Then I head for downstairs hoping not to find my mama, coz she's going to kill me.

As soon as I reach downstairs, there's hundreds of people around running around, holding flowers, decorating, carrying sweets and doing the chores. Then I realised that today is my mayon. I can't believe I'm having my mason after marriage but still no one can refuse Bibi Jaan.

I slowly pushed past some people and found Bibi Jaan with some people in the lounge.

"Finally, you're awake my daughter!",Bibi Jaan said as I sat down on the sofa.

"Sorry, Bibi Jaan",I said feeling ashamed.

"It's okay my love it's normal to wake up late in the morning after a night's hard-work",she said.

I nearly choked on air. Like we didn't do any of that.

"Ok, today is your mayon and these tailors will help you pick a dress",she says.

"Thnx Bibi Jaan",I say.

Mama was with me and it took us both 3 hours to choose the dress.

Like literally no kidding.

It's so crazy, that I get carried away whenever I'm picking something with my mother.

At the end we came up with this light green coloured dress.

It was sleeveless but Bibi Jaan said that it was a girls event.

How does it look?

Ahad's POV:

It's been ages since I've seen my angel.

My eyes were yearning for her and Bibi Jaan even restricted me from meeting her.

This is so unfair like no law in this world can stop a husband from meeting his wife.

I stood outside and Ayla (my cousin) helped me sneak in she made me wear this burqa.

"Api, please put your veil on", Ayla spoke with her annoying voice.

"Gi baaji (Yes sister)",I replied with the same sarcastic voice.

Like legit this woman's making me do so many things.

I could barely see anything like on the way I trip on to this woman landing straight at an old woman feet.

"Be careful love",she spoke and before my mouth said sorry I scooped up and went near the stage, where my eyes stopped and time froze.

She sat there in her elegance, her expressions portraying how tired she was as covered in something.

I got nearer as my feet moved without my will.

"Put some uptan on the bride",a woman spoke.

I put some of that on my hand and gently smooth it out on her face.

When she sees my eyes she stops in shock.

"What are you doing, here?",she hissed.

"I'm here to see my wife",I responded.

"Young lady, why don't you take your burqa off it's only a ladies event",I heard Bibi Jaan's voice from my back.

Shoot.

"Bibi Jaan, I need to go to the washroom",Aamal spoke from behind.

Bibi Jaan's attention shifted to Aamal and I sneaked out.

That was close!

Next day came really quickly despite being unable to sleep without her the whole night.

The house was packed with people, some carrying flowers, others putting on lights, some carrying sweets and gifts around and a few decorating what was left.

Everything was beautiful

Everything was beautiful.

Aamal's POV:

Thank god mama told the maid to wake me up otherwise I would have slept in again.

Like I can't bear the embarrassment again.

Currently, I'm eating breakfast in my room as I'm not allowed to see Ahad until the mend ceremony.

There's so many people in my room, someone feeding me as my hands and feet are being massaged.

After I barely finished my food, she put a mask on my face and was now taking out my jewellery and dress.

After 2 and a half hours....

I had to admit this girl that stood infront of my eyes did look pretty.

"MashAllah",spoke Bibi Jaan as she took some spices and rotated them around my head saying that it'll keep evil eyes off me.

After a bit, some cousins of mine and some men put a yellow scarf on top of our heads and we all went downstairs.

Ahad was non-stop smiling when he saw, making me blush as I looked down.

I sat beside him and he said "You look breathtaking".

"Thank you. You also look nice",I spoke looking down as my cheeks were all ready flustered.

"But you're not even looking at me",he said.

"You guys can do all that talking for the rest of you lives",some aunt teased us.

I looked up and I met with the soul that I fell in love with.
