The next morning, Sanyukta went to work and stayed there until it was night. She never had the flexibility to do this before because her parents' were very strict about what time she came home from work.

Randhir on the other hand, tried to go to sleep early, but wasn't able to. He kept tossing and turning in his bed, despite having read past conversations with Aahana. His mind kept wandering to that girl and that man. She hadn't even come home yet. Was she with him? He couldn't even understand why he kept thinking about it and why he felt that possessive feeling when it came to her.

Finally, it was close to midnight when the front door opened and Sanyukta entered the house. Randhir angrily got up from bed and went to the entrance, glaring at her.

"Is this a time to come home?" he asked her.

She looked at him with shock.

"What?" she asked, annoyed that he was interfering with her matters. "Why do you care when I come home?"

She then walked ahead, pushing past him to go to her room. Randhir followed her.

She dropped her purse on the floor and went in her closet to get her night clothes.

"I have been given the responsibility to take care of you," Randhir stated firmly.

Sanyukta removed her blazer, as if he was not there and his breath caught in her throat. She was only wearing a white tank top now, with her dress skirt that fell to her knees.

"Get out of my room," Sanyukta said firmly.

"You shouldn't bring boys into the house," Randhir pressed on, ignoring her order.

Sanyukta walked towards him and folded her arms across her chest, her eyes boring into his.

"I only take orders directly from my mom and dad," she replied to him, getting closer. "And this is my room. I don't appreciate you being here so late at night."

Randhir folded his arms too, cocking his head to the side. He did intend to leave her alone, but something was set off within him after he witnessed that man in Sanyukta's room last night. Now he didn't want to leave her alone.

"What if I tell your parents' that a boy was in your room so late at night?" Randhir threatened and Sanyukta's mouth dropped open.

"Look, that boy is my college friend. He's not my boyfriend!" Sanyukta then said defensively. "There's nothing you need to tell anyone."

Randhir stepped towards her and she started to breathe more quickly.

"So you do cheap things with your college friends," he stated darkly.

Her arms fell to her sides as he got even closer to her.

"Get out of my room and stop assuming things," she warned. "Or else..."

"Or else what?" he asked her, grabbing her arms and pressing her against the wall.

Her heart started to beat quickly and so did Randhir's.

"At least I ask you questions about your life and don't directly assume!" Sanyukta then said defensively, this time her eyes filling with tears. "Why are you assuming such things about me?"

She didn't know why it hurt her that he could think of her like that, but it did. She knew she didn't have to be answerable to him, but for some reason, she wanted to clear all of his doubts. She didn't want him to think badly about her.

"Randhir leave me alone," she whispered, but he only moved closer to her.

"Who is that guy?" he asked her.
