I left the place I used to call home after a year of abuse from my step mom and started roaming the streets of New York.
I had no one to seek help from, my father's family lives in Chicago and mom's family moved from New York to Canada.
I don't have any money on me to travel that far.

Following Day***
I continued to roam around and tried to get a job so I can survive, I eat leftovers from the bins on the streets or sometimes get lucky and might be given food from a close cafe around.
My life was a mess now, how did I become a bag of trash within this years.
I began to sob
"Oh mom I miss you" I whispered as the cold hugged me.
I was walking down the streets as usual, then a car drove by and splashed water on me.
I was probably red now, boiling with anger,my ears are probably bringing out smokes.
"Can't you see?, are you blind or something?!!!" I yelled.
"Woah woah calm down, I'm sorry okay? I didn't mean to, I'm so sorry. Here let me help you" the lady with brown locks offered me a clean tissue as she apologized.
"Thanks but next time you should drive slowly" I said as I wiped the water off my face.
" Yeah of course" she said smiling.
"Lucy let's go already!"Another girl screamed while coming down from the car heading towards her friend.
"Ivy can't you see?...I messed up her cloth and she needs help" she tried to explain to the other girl.
I hated it when people pitied me. I rather die than accept help cause of pity. I frowned at the last word she said.
"It's fine I can take care of myself" I said about to leave. Then something caught my attention
The bracelet, she still has it? But how did this lady get it?
"Excuse me, the bracelet, wait a minute , you said her name was Lucy right?" I asked her friend who now has a frown on her face.
" Yes, my name is Lucy, is there a problem?" She asked looking confused
" Lulu...Omg!! Lu remember me?" I asked her
" Lumina?" She asked unsure if it's my name.... "Lumina"she said again.
" OMG! It's you Lumina" she said as she hugged me tightly.
"Yes it's me Lu" I said smiling
At least something good is happening right now.
