Lumina's Pov:
"Mom please, please, I just needed to rest, I'm sorry it won't happen again" I pleaded as I saw her eyes darken and filled with hatred.
"I must give you a mark to teach you and also be a reminder to you not to ever disrespect me again
Got it?" She shouted at me
I nodded still crying and pleading with her.
"You can't form words huh? Answer me!! When I talk you answer Got it?" She shouted
"Yes mom" I said shaking and crying, scared of what she might do next
"I'm not your mom...correct yourself" she yelled
I felt a sting on my face and the tears increased.
"I'm sorry mom...madam "I corrected myself immediately to avoid another slap.
She then dragged me out if my room to hers and brought out her whip and whipped me until I was weak and couldn't cry anymore
I woke up with beads of sweats on my head,these nightmares won't leave me after all these years.
God please help me, I sobbed as I went back to sleep.
Lumina I heard your sobs last night,everything okay? Lucy asked looking concerned.
I'm okay Lu, it's just a nightmare I've always had since I was with my step mom. It's like the abuse is happening again but when I wake up it's just a dream I explained looking sad.
Lucy signed before hugging me and telling me it'll be alright.
"Everything is gonna be fine okay?" She said hugging me.
"I hope so...I really hope so lu"
