NATHANIEL ARCHIBALD, was once everything to ESTELLA BUCHANAN.
At the age of ten, when she moved across the pond to New York and on her first day of school was defended from some bullies mocking her accent by said Archibald boy, you could've told Estella that he singlehandly strung every star in the nights sky and she would have believed you. That's how enamoured by him she was.
Of course it grew, the feeling spiralled. They were best friends the day they met and inseparable by the end of that same week. You never saw one without the other, at least it was rare. Got into trouble by teachers for laughing too loud in the library when they were meant to be studying, spending the weekends building forts in the cinema room of the Buchanan's home, spent thanksgiving with Nate's family and Christmas with Estellas.
