"Breeze drifting on by, you know how I feel. It's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new life, for me, and I'm feeling good"
I could feel the pain as I fluttered my eyes open, woken by the alarm of my throbbing headache. Looking around the room I saw that I couldn't recognise anything other than the fact that i seemed to be in an hotel room. I huge one at that. If it weren't for my headache I could have sworn i was in heaven right now from the comfort of the foreign bed I was led in. Removing the covers from my body I noticed I was swamped by a black t-shirt. Lifting it up to my nostrils I inhaled the heavenly sent, wanting to drown in it.
My thoughts of how I got here were interrupted when I saw the bathroom door open. Looking up I caught the eyes of a familiar man. I became Confused, frustrated and flustered all at once as I drown in his gorgeous deep eyes. It made me bite my lip and clench my thighs together.
"I see that you're awake" his Italian accent pierced my ears, radiating through my body making me suddenly hot. His dark wavy hair dripped with water landing on his bare shoulders and glistening chest. Around his waist loosely sat a white towel, all this evident that he had just come out the shower.
I leaned further back, hitting the head board trying to get my distance but also to inspect him from a further distance.
"Who are you? Why am I here?" I had many questions but these seemed to be the most important right now.
He began to walk towards me. I watched him as he eventually sat down next to me on the edge of the bed. It was intimidating and sexy at the same time.
"My name is Lorenzo Romano and you're here because you drank yourself into unconsciousness last night in my club and I wasn't going to allow a girl to pass out in the middle of the dance floor" there's that accent again. My chest is going up and down and suddenly I'm struggling to breathe.
"I - I'm sorry. I didn't mean to cause you any trou-" I reach out and wrap my fingers around my forehead, unable to even finish my sentence from the pain.
He reaches over to the dressing table on the other side of the bed, pulling out pain killers and giving them to me, along with a glass of water that was already placed on the table. I took them from his large hand and swallowed them along with the soothing cold liquid.
"Thank you" returning my gratitude, relieved that they'll kick in soon.
"You're welcome dolcezza" replying to me in Italian made me bite my lip for the second time. My whole family was Italian and I had grown up in a home where my mother and father spoke it so I am fluent but coming out of his mouth it sounded divine.
"So, what is your name piccolo?" Finally asking me something.
He took my chin between his thumb and finger, lifting my head up close to his, meeting his eyes once again.
"Aurora" I quietly replied. Usually I give strangers a false name like Amy or Sarah, not wanting them to know my identity. I don't know why I decided to give him my true name.
We stared at each other, saying nothing for what seemed like quite some time. Before I could, he broke eye contact, swiftly removing his fingers from my face as he silences the penetrating ringing by picking up his phone and walking away from me, leaving his masculine scent behind.
