Together Again (A Kelly Severide Story)

(Kelly POV)

Renne had left for a couple of weeks to get things set up in Madrid for us while she was gone I spent the nights with Luna all we did was sleep in the same bed.it felt nice just having her there i missed it Buddy would also sleep in the bed i would have to chanage the sheets before Renne got back so that it did not smell like dog or like Luna the weeks went slowly and we all had gotten into a routine we would take it turns to make breakfast and then we would shower and then head to work Luna and i would take turns to walk Buddy today it was Luna turn to make breakfaest and mine to walk Buddy.

we both woke up at the same time Luna rolled over in my arms and kissed my check and then snuggled into the crock of my neck and says

Luna- can we just stay here for 5 more minutes

K.Severide- I wish we could Love Bug but we have work and have to get up

Luna-your bed is so comfy and i can cuddle you all day and not have to worry about anyone saying stuff i can't do that at work

K.Severide- i know but it wont be for long Bug i just need to wait till Renne comes back so i can leave her then i will be all yours

I place my hands on her belly and lightly grazed it Luna just smiled and buried her head into my neck more I looked up at her and said

K.Severide- we need to get up Bug and you need to eat Peanut is going to be hungry and i know you are going to get grouchy in about 5 minutes cause you are hungry

Luna- Peanut huh , and maybe but i am comfy and don't want to move

K.Severide- yeah Peanut its my little nickname and i know i am too but we need to Bug

Luna- fine

we slowly get out of bed I get dressed so that i could walk Buddy while Luna made breakfast. we both headed down the stairs Luna made a start on breakfast she started to make waffles when i got back it was ready we ate and then headed to the firehouse.

Luna POV

K.Severide- Be careful today ok

Luna- i will

I see Casey and walk straight past him feeling sick i started running to the toilet i threw up i was getting fed up with the fact that every time i would cook the baby would make my bring it back up but loved it when Kelly cooked. I went into my bag and grabbed some gum and then put my bag into Kelly lockers me and him where sharing at the moment. i walked out to see Casey he looks at me and says

M.Casey- on the floor we are gonna do a drill Halsted listen up this is a downed firefighter assessment a fellow firefighter gonna be on the floor full gear with his pass alarm going off you crawl in from 10 feet away , deactive his alarm, check for air flow, call in a maday on you radio and drag the victim to the extraction point which will be North gate.

Luna- Okay

i said looking over at Kelly who was sat on the squad table looking at me i winked at him to say that i was ok and i could do this

M.Casey- But with a blacked- out mask to simulate Zero Visibility

the team laugh and i look over at Kelly worried what if i fell this was a stupid idea Kelly came to my side and pulled me aside quick to talk to me

K.Severide- Casey in need to speak with Luna for a sec

M.Casey- ok but make it quick
