Mo's POV
~~~~
The sun blinded my eyes when it poured into the room per the early riser who gleefully came with me on this trip. Not that it's all bad, I at least have someone to keep me company whilst I process the feelings I had towards Linda before I left two nights ago when she fell asleep in my bed.
"Morning, sunshine." He smiled and poured me a cup of tea with milk.
"Do you think it was right of me to leave her like that?" I ignore his kind introduction and stretch my back before looking him up and down warily and taking a sip of the steeped tea.
"Do I think that you should feel bad for wanting to travel the world? No, I don't. But do I also think you should have waited to leave and comforted your best friend and maybe have worked out your issues instead of leaving when tension was still there? Yes." He fluffs put his bed and plops on it to keep being the "all wise one" he wants to achieve.
"Fuck you, Ritchie." My words were filled with scorn, to which he threw a pair of clothes at me. It's not like I meant them, it's always in good fun when he's around.
"Tellin' ye that it's a dickhead move that you made. Don't have to like it if you don't want, your choice." He lights a cigarette and puffs a cloud into the air. I set the tea down and cross my arms.
"I see I've fallen into the hands of another scouser."
"More like arms. I know you love me."
"Don't push it, Ritch. Or else I'll have to use my strong legs to puncture your testicles back inside where they originated. Now I'm going to get dressed and you are going to stress about redoing your hair." I took my free hand and ruffled his hair up so now the curls look more close to electrocuted frizz instead of well done curls. I hear a groan and skip away into the bathroom peacefully, happy with the work I've done.
"That was uncalled for, Mo." He mumbled as I walk back into the main space of our hotel room. I stuffed my clothes back into my bag and run fingers through my hair.
"I'm not looking for a relationship right now, so don't try anything."
"Then why do you always change the subject when I ask if I can finally meet Linda?"
I froze and my eyes fell to the floor. The question of when they're gonna meet each other has been haunting my mind for weeks now with sharp claws and a snappy slithering of a snake's tongue. What is it with them two and wanting to meet? Do they *have to* become friends or something just because they both happen to know me? It wasn't like that when I met Stuart through George, that's for sure. It was several years before we got to really hanging out and we only talk to each other when we get the off chance anyhow.
"Do all parts of my life have to intersect?"
"It was just a question, jeez."
I downed the rest of my tea, resting not well in my mouth considering it had grown cold while I got dressed and started on my makeup. I decided to go for a more casual look to fit the tone of my clothes, with blue eyeshadow sitting lightly next to a thinly drawn wing of eyeliner and some blush to add color to my pale complexion. Seems good enough for today until the energy from the caffeinated tea sets in.
"Yer not gonna draw on those crows?" Ringo looks at me with a squint in his eye.
"Ravens."
"Huh?"
"They're ravens, not crows." I state rather cross to tie my hair back with a ribbon that Violet shoved at me to take because it matches this outfit.
