chapter 16: A Beautiful Ending

Taeil was pulling his baggage out of his room when he saw Jaehyun standing in front of his room, warping his hand around his body. Jaehyun was looking angry. Taeil ignored him and continues pulling his baggage out of his room.

"Are going there without telling us?" Jaehyun followed him from behind. Stomping his feet and kind of raising his voice.

"I always wanted to do this," Taeil said softly.

"Yes, but without telling us?"

"I was about to. My ad –"

"I know. But you should have told me. I will never know about this if Jinha didn't tell me. I can take care of Yellow instead," Jaehyun said, his voice is now slow and softly cracking. He was sad.

"Why are you acting like this? It not that I am dyin –"

"Don't you say stuff like that!" Jaehyun scolded him, pulling Taeil into a hug. "is it because of Doyoung?"

"No, Doyoung had nothing to do with this. I wanted this remember? Even before I was dating Donghyuck." Taeil reminds Jaehyun.

"Yeah, I know but it just..."

"Let's have dinner with me," Taeil changed the topic as he invited the younger male as he breaks the hug.

"When are you flying?" Jaehyun said as he walked with Taeil to the kitchen.

"Tomor –"

"Tomorrow!?"

Taeil was startled when Jaehyun suddenly scream. "why are you screaming?"

"Nothing," Jaehyun said as he shut his mouth.

If he didn't know about Taeil going to Ireland for his studies from Jinha, he will never know it from Taeil's mouth alone. It's weird how Taeil is this secretive. They never had a secret in between them. Whenever something happens to any of them, they will always share it in their group chat.

Taeil is definitely trying to run away from Doyoung. what else was his reason?

After dinner, Jaehyun insisted to sleep with Taeil in his room and Taeil just let him. Taeil had cleaned the house and had hired a helper to clean and take care of the house while he was away. He had planned everything throughoutly despite rushing to move to Ireland.

The new painter had started working a few days ago and everything is set. He had found a perfect apartment in Ireland, closer to the campus. Taeil is thankful that everything comes so easily to him. maybe he needs to thank his child in his stomach for making everything easier?

They woke up early that morning because Taeil flight was early morning. Jaehyun cooked Taeil his last breakfast in Seoul. After cooking and he was waiting for Taeil to get ready, he walked to Taeil baggage to see if they had bought everything.

Jaehyun pulled files inside the tote bag, to see which university Taeil planned to study. But he was greeted by medical check-up files where Taeil is.... Pregnant?!

Jaehyun almost drop the files and in that same moment when Taeil walked out of his room and saw Jaehyun looking over his stuff. Jaehyun was looking at him in shock. Taeil ignored the look and walked to Jaehyun, take the files he was holding and put them back in his place. Walking to the kitchen without saying anything.

"Taeil," Jaehyun called, voice trembling.

"You are pregnant," Jaehyun stated slowly. Taeil ignored him as he starts taking a bowl of rice to sit in his place. He looks emotionless.
