I heard a small growl noise making me blink and sit up slightly. all the cups that were cuddled to me rolled to my spot still purring.

I looked up and saw the adult cats at the entrance. lilly looked back at me and meowed crouching.

I quickly got up getting my bag. she said danger was approaching and the panthers are scared for their cubs.

I walked out of their hidden den and stood a few trees down and jumped into a tree hiding.

I heard the leaves rustle and saw a bunch of guys holding swords and knives.

I jumped down glaring, "what do you think you are doing!" I ordered as they smirked at me.

the man snapped his fingers and a guy came up holding a crate. he opened pulling out a cub and smirked when I growled.

"this cub was found in these parts. I just want to parent and I will let you live." I growled again crouching.

I gasped as he tighted his grip on the kitten making it cry out. I heard a roar and one of the panthers snarled running at them.

the guy smirked and threw a knife but I was quick. I pushed the panther aside and hissed as the knife when into my arm.

I growled at her and she growled back. I hissed and she backed up whimpering. I turned to the guys and they watched shocked. I spun out my knives and threw them.

all the guys laid dead except the one with the kitten. he was surprised and held a knife up to its neck. I raised my hand and he glared.

"im pretty sure I can kill this cat before you kill me." he threatened but as soon as he finished the sentence my knife went through his head and the kitten was dropped.

I walked over picking up the terrified kitten and walkes back to the mom. she was hesitant then snatched her kitten up with her jaws disappearing into the hidden den.

I dropped my bag and tighed the men together and dragged them all of the way to a village and wrote a quick note.

'hurt a panther I kill you.'

I stabbed it into the guys chest and jogged away before anyone saw me.

I went to a creek and cleaned up then headed back to the den. I saw lilly laying next to my bag waiting for me. I smiled petting her head.

"we can leave after I say bye."

I walked into the den and the panthers turned to me and just watched me. the kittens ran to me. I giggled scratching their bellies and I saw the one that was taken away.

I pet her, "dont believe every one is like him. but dont believe everyone is like me." I whispered and she meowed nuzzling my cheek. I frowned when I saw a scar down the right side of her chin.

I touched it softly before I set her down standing up, "if you guys are ever in need... tell me." I told them and walked out.

I know some people say animals cant understand humans but that isnt true. they uderstand us just like we do to another human.

I scooped up my bag and lilly looked up at me with a purr. I smiles petting her head, "I know... we can visit one day." I assured her and we continued on our way.

"hey where is my money?!" i snickered as we disappeared into a village. yes we just tricked someone else and I didnt feel to bad since they were rich.

we cut through the woods and got to a new town. I looked arouns and saw it was the village hidden in the mist.

I fed lilly a few rabbits that were healthy while I ate noodles.
