Part 8: Hidden truth

Story begins from Khushi running away and leaving him speechless after there romantic kiss.

Khushi is confused . Is she his girlfriend now? This questions keeps ringing in her ears. He said he wants her by his side always . What does he mean by that? What does all this mean? Was he just looking for solace in me ? She questions herself again and again .

She is standing in the restroom looking at her lips . She touches them with her fingers and remembers their moment . She felt her heartbeat increase at the thought . He actually kissed her and told her she is his . And she called him Arnav .

Oh god this thoughts will kill her from inside . Now she is feeling dizzy and anxious to go out, how will she face him. She freshens up quickly and heads out , she cannot stay there much longer . This rapid heartbeat needs to stop. She needs to find Payal and get out of this place as soon as possible. She steps out only to find Akash and Payal standing not too far from her chatting . Upon approaching them she looks around to make sure he wasn't there.

Payal: Khushi you here ?

Khushi nods nervously .

Payal: You ok. Did he say something ?

Khushi nods no without answering .

Payal: everything discussed ?

Khushi nods yes .

And just when payal was about to ask  Akash permission to leave , Arnav came and stood beside Khushi. He looked at Khushi , her lips then Payal .

Arnav: everything is done we just need to discuss more on this project tomorrow right Khushi ?

Khushi looks at him surprised . He is being so weird tonight. She nods yes nervously.

Payal: ok then we should be leaving . Come Khushi let's bid goodbye to all.

Khushi : ye... yes jiji.

Payal and Akash started walking towards the hallway when Arnav and Khushi shared a quick glance . Her cheeks are pink from blushing . She cannot handle this heat , he winked at her and she ran towards Payal, followed by Arnav . He called her from behind ..!!

Arnav: don't forget Khushi I'll pick you up tomorrow we have a very important meeting.

Khushi looked at him confused,  as per the schedule there is no meeting tomorrow. Akash also stopped and started thinking which meeting is he referring to? But before he could ask his bhai , Payal interupted.

Payal: ok Akashji and ASR ji it was nice meeting you again .

Payal and Khushi walk away from the boys through the hallway. Here Arnav is thinking if she loves me she will look back. And Akash is also thinking the same for Payal.

Both standing there with eyes fixed on Girls . Right at the end of the hallway both of them look back . Khushis eyes fixed on Arnav and Payals on Akash. They both waved bye from the distance and went away .

Arnav smiled and looked at Akash who was smiling as well.

Arnav patted his shoulder to hide his feelings before Akash sees him smiling for the first time.

Arnav: go drop them and tell Khushi to be ready at sharp 7am tomorrow for the important meeting with clients .

Akash; thanks bhai.

Akash got happy as he gets to drop them . He rans towards the main room to meet them there before they head out. Both girls were bidding goodbye to the family.

As walking out Khushi felt his presence and looked up . She saw him looking at her smiling . She quickly looked down shyly and walked out . Anjali who was looking at the duo felt a connection between them already . She has never seen Arnav this happy ever and the smile of his face was so pure . He is smiling from within. She needs to find more excuses to bring Khushi to RM often.
