My second day of school so excited to see Jason hope he is at school, went to have a shower but before I do that I should call Jason,

I hung up when the voice mail started. I am so worried I have know idea what to do, maybe I will see him at school today. I hade a shower then went down stairs and breakfast was ready again. dad usually only does breakfast First day of school or a special occasion. other mornings we just have cereal. That's weird but I'm not gonna complain. Then I left for school in my Subaru.

When I arrived at school I saw chase yet again. I don't know what to think, things have been so off lately. I just can't point out the reason why. Then I see chase walking towards me. I wonder if he's gonna be a jerk today or be nice like yesterday. I really doubt it won't be the first.

Then he surprises me yet again. " hey Courtney, how's it going?" He said. " then I replied "not bad chase, how are you?" Then he just shrugs and says "not bad, considering." Then I think..considering what? But I just pass over his last sentences and blurt out "why are you being nice all of a sudden?"

He looks at me for a minute before replying "because he knew I liked you and someone told me you started dating." "Who?" I say remembering when me, Jason and chase were best friends. "Jason's brother, Kyle." He says. "Kyle? I never dated Kyle". " no, I thought you were dating Jason. Kyle's the one who told me you two were dating."he says. "Wait hold on a minute..." He just said he liked me. If he liked me then why, why treat me like crap for the last year. Kyle this was his fault.

"You just said you liked me, I never knew. Oh and wait that's why you stopped being friends with me and Jason!. Because you thought we were dating and you thought he betrayed you!. This is Kyle's fault. Did you already talk to Jason? Are you gonna work things out with him so we can hang and be best friends again.?"

There was a long pause. Very long. "How did you find out that he wasn't dating me." I say. Then he replies "after what happened to Jason...Kyle told me the truth." "Kyle told you after what happened to Jason? What are you talking about?" I say really confused.

Then he replies after a long pause "you don't know" then he turns and walks away. Out of the school.
