The ballroom was bustling with symphonies. The king smiled as he spotted his beloved, his sun, his spring, his first and forever last love, his queen. She was smiling so brightly as she approached him with delicate steps and sophisticated manner. She was wearing a beautiful dazzling red dress with golden embroidery, his favorite colors, her favorite dress. Her elaborate crown sat on her head with pride. She IS the queen. She IS the ruler of this land and the reason for its success, and the king could never not be prouder for his pretty rose. He got up from his throne and approached his beloved, their eyes only seeing one another. No one mattered, nothing mattered, only their love did. Memories flood back to the first dance he had with her before he became king. Oh how true it is to fall in love at first sight. The moment he saw her he truly loved her. She owned his heart from the very first glance. And she still does. To this day his heart is locked in her chains and no one has the key to that beating undying love but her. He held her hand and slender waist as she smiled at him and placed a delicate hand on his shoulder. They both forgot about the music and followed the melodies of their hearts instead. The smile on their faces shine brightly, the love in their hearts burn and ignite. Oh how everyone wished to be the other. Lords wished to be the king while the ladies wished to be the queen. How can they wish not when they are witnessing a sight of pure ethereal magical beauty. The king and queen twirled and danced their hearts out without wavering their eyes one second away from the other. The ending to the dance was near as they began to perform the last parts of their twirls. Once the music stopped, the king smiled. He smiled as his tears cascaded down his cheeks and onto the ground, his sobs echoing in the empty ballroom. His heart was hurting and breaking, painful screams never ending as he looked around remembering his queen, which no longer can dance to their melody, but is forever the owner of his chained heart.
