"NOVA!!" he screamed her name with every breath he had in his lungs "THAT IS NOT YOU NOVA!! GET BACK TO YOUR SENSES!!", he kept on calling for her to regain back the thoughts and memories that seemed to have gotten blocked after she got attacked.
She was not listening as she kept advancing towards him. She summoned her sword, one of the greatest swords ever made, powered by divine magic itself making it so majestic yet extremely powerful. She held the sword in her hand as she advanced towards him. Every single person in her way that tried to stop her advancing got slaughtered in clear sheer cold blood. But who could blame her when she is nothing now but a mere puppet in the hand of dark magic.
"NOVA NOO!! COME BACK TO ME PLEASE!! NOVA COME BACK!!" he kept on screaming while struggling to get rid of the cursed chains that surrounded him and disabled his all kinds of movement.
He was witnessing his beloved succumb to the darkness as she is doing something she would never even consider, she is hurting innocent people, she is killing those who did nothing but try to survive. Her sword piercing every single person in front of her.
"YOUR ROYAL HIGHNESS FORGIVE ME BUT I CAN NOT ALLOW YOU TO ADVANCE FORWARD IN THIS STATE! PLEASE FORGIVE ME BUT I WILL BE STOPPING YOU!" her royal guard appeared, all blooded and a bit weakened, but he will do his all to stop his lady from what she is doing "that is what one has to pay in exchange of the heart of darkness" he gritted his teeth as he remembered how she had no choice but to consume that dark, murderess, unforgiving heart. "Forgive me my king and queen. I could not protect her but I shall now do my all to try and stop her" he summoned his sword and gripped it tight as he braced himself.
She advanced forward slowly while her sword was being dragged on the floor, she looked at him with eyes empty of any emotions or light, and in a split second, her sword clashed with his sending him back a few steps. He did not have much time to regain his composure as she leaped into the air and advanced with her other strike. He was able to counterattack, sending her just a little back to give himself an opening to advance. Strike after strike, leap after leap, dodge after dodge, he was fighting with his all to stop her. Just when he thought he was able to dodge her next attack, he was struck. The sword pierced through his flesh and deep within his chest. He took a long intake of breath as she retracted the sword, no emotions on her face but rather pain and agony on his. He spat out blood as more poured from his wound. "I'm incredibly sorry your royal highness's...I did not...fulfill my promise" a single tear rolled down his cheek as his body slumped to the floor, motionless, breathless, dead. "No...no...NOO!! LEO!! GALILEO!! NOOO GALILEO DON'T GO!! GALILEO!!!" he screamed his friend's name as he sobbed and cried pushing and kicking the chains with every fiber in his body. He was trying his all to get out, but with chains of dark black magic it is not so easily possible.
In his state of distress, Nova released an explosion of dark magic that erupted the kingdom killing more people, and clouded the pure blue sky to complete ash and grey.
"Nova" he called as his voice cracked and his tears streamed nonstop down his face "Nova please, come back to me love, stop this, please wake up, come back to your kingdom, come back to me I beg you.." his sob echoed louder than the chaos that surrounded them.
She advanced towards him, breaking the chains and sending him tumbling back, once he looked up he saw her plunge right on him.
"Aries..." she spoke his name as she gripped her sword to keep herself stable to not fall completely on him "Aries" she called his name again as tears built on her eyes and cascaded like crystals down her cheeks.
"Nova...my Nova...you're back" he smiled as a few tears escaped his eyes. He raised his trembling hand and held her cheek as he looked at her with nothing but pure love, a love that will never die.
"Aries...what have I done?" she held his hand as she began sobbing.
"It is okay my star, it wasn't...you" he sat up as he took her in his embrace and engulfed her with his warmth "Not your fault...it is okay" he kept repeating as he rubbed her back and caressed her hair to calm her down.
"WHAT HAVE I DONE ARIES!!" she screamed in pure terror as more tears fell.
"Hey...Nova...do not blame yourself...it is not your fault...not yours...I love you Nova you know that right? I loved you, I love you, and I will forever remain loving you"
"Aries...what are you saying?" she moved away from him, but still with her hands on his shoulder "why are you talking like that--" she gasped at the sight she saw "Aries...no please...please no you can't do this...YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME ARIES!! I NEED YOU!! PLEASE!" she held his face as she tried to press on the big gush in his abdomen that seemed to have been created by none other than her sword. The sword that was supposed to carry nothing but light and innocence is now tainted in blood and darkness. The sword that killed her knight and her beloved, and the darkness that got set deep into her heart as it grew even more now without any will power to retreat since she no longer has her reason to keep fighting and living. The galaxy is now barn without her star. And she can never live without him.
