Chapter 2: First day of school.

*The next morning*

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

My alarm went off and I struggled to turn it off. Finally finding the snooze button, I slammed the button and the alarm fell on the ground with a loud THUMP. I groaned as I got out of bed and jumped into the shower. I got dressed in my blue half shirt that had cute little flowers on it with some nice white long jeans. It took me 15min to do my hair, I let it down curly sprayed a little bit of Hairspray in it. My mom made me some breakfast and I quickly ate it and ran to my car, I was almost late. I drove up to the school, it was a huge you couldn't miss it. A couple of guys stared at me as I got out my car but I ignored them. The 1st bell rung and I went straight to my 1st period, almost got lost. I sat all the way in the back, I hated sitting in the front. It wasn't such a big class only about 10 people. The late bell rung and the teacher went up and started talking. It was the usual " First day of school " speech they always give and make us get to know each other better. The teacher got interrupted as someone had walked in late. My heart stopped. It was the guy from the beach. Some girls in the front started to squeal in their chairs as he walked in. Wonder what their deal was. " Oh Mr.Mahone , your late but it is the first day so I'll let it slide. Have a seat." Mr.Mahone, I've heard that last name before I don't know where. The cute boy sat in the seat right next to me. I started to get nervous as he sat down. Mr.Ortiz, our teacher, told us to pair up with anybody and get to know each other. Someone tapped my shoulder and I saw it was the cute boy. " Hey, want to work with me?" he asked smiling showing his teeth. I gave him a half smile and said yes. He scooted his chair closer to mine. Oh god, he was cute I tried not to do anything stupid. " So what's your name beautiful?" " Luz" I said blushing. " That's a really unique name, just like you. So weren't you the girl at the beach yesterday?" he looked at me and his eyes were only focused on me, nothing else. Those eyes of his, I couldn't stop staring at them. " Ah haha yeah I was..." I looked at him and he was just smiling. " Yeah I noticed, I couldn't forget that face of yours you really caught my attention yesterday and I'm not just saying.. I mean it. By the way I'm A-" " AUSTIN! Omg I love your cover you did yesterday it was really amazing!" some blonde girl interrupted. I looked at her confused. " Thanks " he said still looking at me. Did she just say Austin? As in Austin that everyone has been talking about. The blonde noticed he just kept staring at me and she walked away giving me this dirty look. Well that was awkward. " Wait.. your Austin.... Austin Mahone?" he giggled as I asked him. " Now I like you even more since I know your not just talking to me because I'm Austin Mahone.. But yes I am Austin.." he said smiling. Wow.. This is the Austin everyone is talking about. He was perfect like everyone said he was. " Yeah haha I heard a lot about you but I never knew who you really were but no I'm not talking to you just because you are Austin Mahone. Talking to you because you seem like a really nice guy" he smiled as I talked. I couldn't believe I just met Austin. " You know you're different from all the girls I have met. They all just want Austin Mahone and they go crazy but they don't really want me.. the real Austin. They just want the Austin Mahone everyone knows from YouTube. You seem like a very amazing girl I would love to hang out with you and get to know you better.." said Austin as I kept staring into those eyes of his. " Yeah.. I'm not like those girls. Um we could hang out whenever you want so we can get to know each other better" " I would like that " he said. I couldn't stop smiling. I noticed the girls in the front were just giving me dirty looks as I was talking to Austin. We talked the whole class about him and myself. He was a really sweet guy. The class was over and the day went on. I had Austin in almost all my classes, which of course I didn't mind. He asked for my number before I got in my car and I gave it to him. I was really crushing on him but I didn't want to fall too hard and I didn't know if he felt the same. All because of Austin, my first day was amazing, even though a couple of girls were talking about me and staring at me as I walked with Austin, I didn't care and neither did he. Maybe I will like this school after all.
