Chapter 3: The weekend

When I got home from school my mom asked me so many questions I was getting a headache! Asking 'did I like any boys, how were the teachers, did I make any friends, were boys trying to flirt with me.' Mothers these days. I asked my mom if she could sit down and I could tell her about my day. " So how did it go?" she said as she sat down. " It was great. People were okay, teachers were nice and I met this one guy... He was at the beach yesterday and he recognised me" " Really!? Who, what's his name? Is he cute?!" " Haha mom calm down.. And yes he is cute, Very. He sat next to me in all the classes we have which is like all the classes except 6th. We just talked and stuff and I found out that this Austin kid who EVERYONE has been talking about... That was him. I met Austin mahone today at school and he wants to hang out sometime to get to know each other better and he says I'm different from the other girls who are just fans and want the YouTube sensation Austin Mahone. Austin is a really sweet guy, but I don't want to fall for him especially not too soon and I'm not sure he likes me back." While I was talking my mom had this very interested look on her face and she was listening to every single word I had said. " Sounds like a good day to me and wow Austin Mahone!? He's a good singer. I'm sure he likes you that's why he was talking you and you did say he couldn't stop smiling at you! Yeah I know you guys just met but as time passes by you guys will get to know each other and he will ask you out, I'm sure." She grabbed my hand and smiled at me. I love my mom, she always knew what to say to me and yeah she gets on my nerves sometimes but I love her I couldn't live without my mom. The first week passed by quick and it was the best week ever! Me and Austin were always together and talked about small little things. He was a very sweet funny guy and I love talking to him and just being around him. Every time he would walk me to class or to my car, everyone would just stare but I didn't care, they can stare all they want. The weekend was finally here and I was laying in my bed on my laptop. I was deciding what I should do when my phone vibrated. Austin texted me and a huge smile grew on my face.

Austin: Hey beautiful (:

Me: Hey love :)

Austin: I'm your love now? Fine with me! Lol, so what are you doing today?

Me: haha sure! & I have no idea, probably nothing :(

Austin: Well, how about I pick you up later and we can hang out.. Is that fine with you?(:

Me: Yeah, I'll go get ready :)

Austin: Okay pick you up at 5 ?(;

Me: Yes (:

Austin: Alright, see you later <3

I jumped out of bed and went downstairs to the kitchen. " Good morning sleeping beauty" she said while cracking an egg. " Morning mom, can I ask you something?" " What is it?" " Can I hang out with Austin later....?" " Umm I'm not sure, what time?" " Around 5" " I guess I mean we aren't doing nothing I have to go run some errands in Orlando I'll be gone until 7. Will Austin drop you off and maybe stay a little so I can meet him?" I wasn't sure if I wanted my mom to meet Austin, we're just friends. " Sure I'll ask, but I can?" " I guess." I smiled and hugged my mom. We ate breakfast and went shopping for a little. We shopped for a few hours and we bought a lot of things. It was 3:47 when we got home so I went straight upstairs to get ready and my mom left to Orlando. I looked in my closet and decided to wear this:

I straightened my bangs and let my natural curls fall down. 4:50 came around and my phone went off. I picked it up quickly.

Me: " Hello "

Austin : " Hey, you ready?"

Me: " Yeah I just have to get my purse."

Austin: " alright i'll be there in 5 minutes."

I hung up and went downstairs to grab my purse. I made sure all the alarms were on and everything was locked. There was a knock on my door and I opened the door to see Austin on my steps. I started to get butterflies when I looked at him. He looked so perfect, everything I could ever dream of in a guy. Austin smiled at me and asked if he can come in. I let him in and he just looked around my living room. " Very nice house you have, where's your mom?" he said while sitting down on the couch. " She went to Orlando she won't be back until 7 and she wants to meet you" I sat down next to him. My heart starting beating really fast I didn't know why I was feeling the way I was. Austin looked at me and just smiled, I smiled back shyly. " I would love to meet your mom" Austin said, half smiling at me. I swear he had the cutest smile ever. " Alright so let's go have some fun and we can come back maybe like at 7:30 & I'll meet your mom" he looked at me and I nodded my head yes. We headed to his car, which was a nice red range rover and drove to Panera, my favorite place. When we got there I said " Ah , I love panera! One of my favorite places!" Austin looked over at me smiling ear to ear. " Seriously? That's amazing.. I love Panera!! Glad you like it too now we have even more in common" he laughed and I laughed with him. We walked in and a couple heads turned as they saw us. Some girls at a table started whispering to each other and looking at me. Austin noticed the girls and looked over at me. " Ignore them, they are jealous because I want to hang out with you instead of being in the studio or hanging out with Dave!" I smiled and asked " Who's Dave?" " My bodyguard. He's like a big brother to me, he looks out for me all the time! I'm sure he's fine he has a date with his girlfriend today so yeah." We sat down at a table with our food and talked. I got to know more about him and I like this Austin, not that famous star that every other girl likes. I couldn't help but blush the whole time we were there. Just as I was about to say something a group of girls approached us. ' Great ' I thought to myself. There was 5 girls, 2 were blonde 2 were brunettes and one had blonde highlights in her hair. The really preppy blonde girl, who was wearing a pink skirt and a white blouse, sat next to Austin acting like I wasn't there. " Omg hey Austin I'm such a huge fan i can't believe you're here. These are my bestfriends and we all love you." I looked at all of them hoping they realise I want them to leave. The girl tried putting her arm around Austin but he pulled his chair away from her. " Uh thanks guys it's really nice to meet you" he said as he looked over at me with a look on his face saying ' This is what happens everyday.' I giggled at how hard they all tried to flirt with Austin but Austin didn't flirt back at all. The preppy one looked over at me with a disgusted face. " Um, who are you may I ask?" I looked over at her and rolled my eyes. " Don't worry about that but I'd appreciate it if you fix your tone because I don't like you talking to me like that.." Austin laughed and smiled at me and the girls all looked at him, at the girl than at me . " Listen, I can talk to you in whatever way I want to now answer my question. WHO ARE YOU?" I looked at Austin and I know he knew what I was thinking. Before I could say anything Austin talked for me. " This beautiful girl is Luz, I'm hanging out with her because I wanted to see her and have a great time but I don't think she's enjoying it right now because of how rude you guys are being. Now I love all my fans but please don't disrespect her." The blonde girl rolled her eyes at us. " haha, beautiful? What is she your girlfriend or something!?" her voice started getting louder. I got tired and interrupted Austin before he could say a word. " That doesn't concern you who Austin see's or dates! But no I am not his girlfriend and if I was you wouldn't be able to do anything about it so do us a favor PLEASE go away and leave us alone. Maybe when Austin is alone you can talk to him but I am seriously not liking you right now so I would like it if you will get away from me you and your little group here." Austin looked at me with a surprised face. She got up and stomped away with her little posey! I tried to calm down and took a sip from my coffee. " I'm sorry i went off a little, I just don't like girls like that..." I said. " It's all good, I like girls who stand up for themselves especially the way you did" Austin grinned at me, I looked down and smiled like an Idiot. We sat there without anyone interrupting us and we just talked and had a couple of laughs. I was falling head over heels for him, I couldn't help it.
