King O'colan sat on a chair afront his study table, he was so sad and confused.
The issue of his daughter getting married and her declination has made him worry a lot, he had just two options and had no idea which he should choose.

It was either he forced Alina into an early marriage or he forfeit the customs and allow her pursue her dream of becoming a knight.

He rubbed his temple gently as he was lost in thought. He recalled how sad and hurt Alina had been, he had never seen her like that before.

He had always known his daughter to be a strong, cheerful  and exquisite girl.

He remembered the way she had run away and hope she doesn't do anything dangerous.

He sat down gloomily and old memories of the past began looming over him,he remembered how he had met Alina's mother. She was the prettiest woman he had ever seen and then he realized she had to be his.

So he got married to her, everything was going well until when she was to put to bed.
O'colan was at a meeting when he heard the news, that day was the most happiest and saddest day of his life.

His wife had left him with a baby to take care of.

Since then he had vowed to ne a good father and mother to Alina, but now he wasn't sure if he was being a good parent to his daughter.

“ Lila what would you have done if you were here?” he said.
He wondered if she would have sent her daughter off unwillingly.

He knew he had to make a good decision,he knew he had to be a good parent to his daughter.

No good parent would ever force his daughter into getting married unwillingly and at that age and no good king would forfeit the law.

He knew he had to make his daughter happy and not subject her to being a wife out of her own will.

“Aargh….what do I do?” he shouted.

The doors of his private chamber flung open and Mira walked in Elegantly smiling.

“My King" she said softly walking towards where he sat.

“You have been in your chamber since this morning…..Is anything the problem?” she asked.
     O'colan nodded.

“What's wrong?” she asked feigning concern.

“I've been thinking lately” he said seeing the concern on her face.

   “ ‘Bout what my king"

“Alina"

“And what about her?” Her face showed fear but she smiled.

“I have hurt her and I am beginning to think that I’m making a wrong decision “

“Dear….Alina will be fine, soon she will begin to understand we are doing all this for her good and the betterment of the kingdom" Mira said.

“I do feel bad for her too but you do know it's the custom”

Queen Mira placed her hand on his shoulder and began to massage it. A smirk appeared on her face when she felt his tensed body relax.

“Don't worry she will get used to it and I'm pretty sure they'll grow to love themselves,so you shouldn't be so worried about her when we have a wedding to plan” Mira replied softly.

King O'colan could see how concerned Mira was,he then thought about what she had said.

If Alina gets married to Duran's son she might eventually fall in love with him.
Still deep inside of him he had the feeling that Alina won't be happy if he made the wrong decision  .

He felt a tingling sensation on his neck as Mira kissed him.
She faced him then kissed him on the lips,he could sense a feeling of relief wash all over his body.

“ I know You're finding it difficult to make a decision, but you should consider how the people will react when they find out that you’ve forfeited the customs “ She said then turned ro leave.

King O'colan watched her leave the room and his body felt all tensed again, he knew he couldn't figure out a good solution to this problem alone.

He Knew he had to talk to someone who was wiser to help him figure out a solution.
