Kakashi had one task left for the day, escorting Kagome Higurashi to her house. After he got done he would be able to go home. Kagome Higurashi, was orphaned and lived alone. Seeing the situation, Kakashi's father gave him an everyday task-escorting young Kagome. The children both were students at the Ninja Academy. "This can't be any slower can it?" Kakashi muttered annoyed. "what?" Kagome questioned. "this walk! how far away is your house anyway?" "Its right over there." "fine! you can walk there yourself. I'm tired and my dad wanted me to do this stupid task, bye." "Fine. I will." she muttered turning away.
Then suddenly a man appeared, and hearing a shriek Kakashi swooped in. Kagome tried to throw a shuriken at her attacker, but it completely missed. Kakashi and the attacker fought, and they beat him in the fight. Tying the attacker up they alerted the Konoha police force. When it was all over Kakashi ended up escorting Kagome all the way to her house. "Thank you Kakashi." "Don't thank me, thank my dad. Also your pretty bad at throwing shuriken." he replied. "If you weren't so mean maybe i'd ask you to teach me." she glared at him with her dark blue eyes. "I don't know if it'd be possible" he sighed. "Anyways, see you later-Kagome" he said, and used ninjutsu disappearing.

"I see... you want to train Kagome?" Kakashi's father asked, raising a brow. "pft. want?" Kakashi sighed. "I don't want her hurting someone or something accidentally with rogue shuriken... She needs help. Fortunately I have talent in shuriken throwing to spare." he said confidently with a smirk. "Very well, you can train her here." his father replied and the two departed.
"Train me huh?" Kagome eyed Kakashi suspiciously. 'Why the sudden want to help me?' she wondered. "yes, we start now. If you want to." Kakashi said calmly. Later after the two had been practicing (mostly Kagome) Kakashi was showing her a trick with the shuriken and being distracted he dropped some. One as it fell cut his hand and he winced, gritting his teeth at the sudden sharp pain. "Are you ok?" Kagome asked concerned after seeing the cut. "I think so, but the cut is a little deep." Ripping the underside of her kimono Kagome tightly wound it around Kakashi's cut. Once it was wrapped she gave it a kiss. 'Did she just kiss me??' Kakashi turned away quickly blushing. "Whats wrong Kakashi? My mama used to say kisses make it better." Kagome asked, confused.
"Oh... o-ok. thanks i guess." he said, turning back to her. He ran his hand through his hair and tried to play it cool. Looking at his hand he realized something-the wound wasn't sore anymore! "hey, what happened? The pain is gone.." Cautiously unwrapping his hand they both looked in shock as his hand was completely healed. "Are you a medical ninja?" He asked. "well, my family- the Higurashi clan had extremely powerful medical ninjutsu. I'm the only one left now..." She said as she started tearing up. It had been a few years ago but the loss of her family- and her clan still grieved her. "hey, its ok. you don't have to tell me if you don't want to...I-" Suddenly he hugged her, loosely. As if to say 'I'll always be here for you.' Later after he cheered Kagome up some he escorted her home.
Years would go by and the two would grow closer. Even though Kakashi teased her she knew he cared about her; and her kindness to Kakashi helped him grow.
Hope you enjoyed! (yes theyr will be more)
