▪︎ Normal POV ▪︎

The Madrigals walk through the forest, brushing leaves and branches from their faces.
The longer they walked, the hotter it became.
Alma lead the way through the path, soon coming across a river where they sat down to rest.
The silence between the family was deep, none of then speaking a word, just sitting in this unsettling silence.
Dolores's head popped up and she hurried to her feet to stand in front of Antonio when she heard something coming, everyone stood up and watched the surroundings intensely.
A young girl pushed through the bushes, her hair on fire as she did, she stopped dead in her tracks when she saw the Madrigals.
She wasted no time to run off screaming, the Madrigals chased after the girl and soon found themselves in a town hidden behind mountains.

The girl ran through the town loudly screaming intruders, hair burning with an uncontrollable fire, which caused the frightened townspeoples to run into their homes.
The Madrigals walked through the town, following the small fire trail the girl hade left behind.
The trail lead to a large house on a hill, similar to Castia, but much more....darker.
Once close enough, the house pulled them inside and loudly shut the doors, the young girl from before stood there as her hair burst into flames out of the shock.
Before anyone could even speak, a large group of moths circled the family until landing in front of them to reveal a girl.

Mirabel...

The girl glared at them before turning her attention to the young girl who was desperately trying to tame the fire.
" Fuega! Calm down, you have a fire!," Mirabel scolded as the girl, who they now knew as Fuega, turned to her angrily.
" I know Mamá! But what do you want from me?! They followed me and found our home!," Fuega defeated while throwing her arms around out of anger, causing the fire to just grow larger, Mirabel didn't even flinch.
" Deep breaths Fuega, big deep breaths," Mirabel replied as she stared at her daughter intensely, upon hearing what her mother had told her, Fuega stated walking back and forth while repeating words under her breath.
" Calm the flames, calm the flames," Fuega muttered under her breath as the fire finally dimed, it was still there but it wasn't as big as before.
Mirabel turned her attention from her daughter back to the Madrigals, a glare clear on her face.
" What are you doing here?," She asked, venom in her voice as she kept an icy glare on the family who said nothing at first, in fear of angering the girl.
Alma stepped slowly forward and opened her arms slightly for her granddaughter.
" Mirabel, we need your help, please the miracle is dying," Alma said as she stepped towards Mirabel, a large group of moths started to swarm Alma, causing the older woman to fall backwards, into the arms of Pepa and Julieta.
" We will discuss this after lunch, when I am much more calm," Mirabel turned on her heel and walked towards the kitchen, Fuega following close behind while keeping her eyes on the Madrigals, the family silently followed after the girl, not saying a word.
Inside the kitchen, the house forced each of the Madrigals into chairs at the table, Alma being seated to Mirabel's left side.
She took notice of the chair across from her and noticed a name carved into it.
" Alejandro," She read quietly as someone sat in the chair, a young man about the age of Isabela and Dolores, dressed in a purple poncho and his hair almost covered his right eye.
Soon a little girl in blue took a sit across from Pepa, a big smile on her face, another girl, dressed in green, took a seat across from Isabela, not saying a word.
Mirabel smiled and stood from her chair, four moths fluttering around her.
" We all know about how important the upcoming day is correct?,'' Mirabel said and got a trio of yeses from her children but Camilo, from were he was seated by his father, slowly raised his hand, causing Mirabel to turn her attention to him.
" Why is this upcoming day so important?," He asked slowly while trying and failing to keep eye contact with his cousin, someone he had been so close to, who now despises him.
Mirabel walked towards the boy in purple and smiled brightly.
" Well it's the day of the proposal for our lovely Alejandro," Mirabel said while turning to the girl in the green, who was quietly eating her dinner, her smile grew bigger as she clapped her hands gently, getting the girl's attention.
" Pepi, we do have a date? Correct?," She asked the girl, who they now all know as Pepi, nodes quietly and speaks up.
" Yes mamá, tomorrow night, at 7, she also wants four babies,'' Pepi replied quickly, which caused Alejandro to squeak and flowers bloomed on his head, a pink color dusting his cheeks.
Isabela seemed shocked to see the flowers that had just bloomed, a small smile appeared on her face as she realized Alejandro had the same gift as her.
" Wonderful, thank you Pepi, we can always relie on you when we need to know something," Mirabel said as she pinched her daughter's cheek gently, causing Pepi to smile sweetly.
Mirabel's smile never left her face as she turned back to face Alejandro.
" Only best for our perfect Alejandro," Mirabel said as she lifted Alejandro's chin lightly, the boy gave a bright shiny smile, just as perfect as him.
