Omega mine (Thor x reader)

chapter 5

the burning of the lights ripped away at my eyes making the burn in pain, I squeezed them closed but the burning sensation wouldn't go away. I heard muffled voiced near where I lay, I opened my eyes ignoring the burning lights as I tried to sit up, but I was strapped down onto the table. I rolled my head to the left to see 3 people in white coats crowded around a clip bored, speaking in a language I didn't understand it sounded sort of Russian but there was no way for me to be sure. the three of them turned to face me as they saw that I was continues and walked over to me. as they stood next to me. 

one on each side of me and one at the bottom of my metal bed, then they started to wheel my bed that I was strapped to down the long hall, my breathing started to become heavier and heavier the more scared I got, I desperately look around to fine something anything that could help me escape, one I realized there was no escape from this hell I was terrified. my bed smashed through a pair of metal double doors and continued down another long hall way, I thrashed around trying to get free of my restrains but nothing I did could free me from them. 

we arrived at the end of the hallway and enter a fully white room, this was the room. the room that haunted my every thought. the room where everything changed. I let out a blood curdling cry. 

I bolted upright tears in my eyes

"Darcy?" I hear a voice ask, I looked around I calmed down to when I saw my room, I was at the compound. but my room smelt different. I looked to my side to see Thor sitting next to me a concerned look written all over his face. tears where now running down my face, why wouldn't there nightmares just leave me alone. 

"hey, hey, its ok" Thor said in a soothing hushed tone wrapping his strong muscular arms around me pulling me closer to his chest. silent tears running down my face as my body was pressed up agents his. one of his hand gently playing with my hair which surprisingly helped me calm down. after about five minutes of Thor holding me trying to calm me down I soon realized how weird this must be for him, he didn't know I had nightmares oh god I must seem so weird to him right now. I gently pulled away from Thor's midrace and whipped the tears off my cheeks

"sorry if I woke you" I mutter "I just sometimes get nightmares about my time at hydra" I mumble 

"yeah it ok, you don't need to explain to me if it makes you uncomfortable" Thor said soothingly, most people when they herd me scream in my sleep pressured me to tell them about my nightmares which made me feel worst, but Thor was different. he didn't pressure me he just let me be, it was nice. 

"I promise as long as I am with you no one will dare lay a hand on you" Thor said this promise was one he intended to keep. we sat there together for a few moments longer just sitting there in each other arms it was oddly comforting. he gave me a kind smile and then slowly stood up off my bed and walked to the door

"Thor?" I called out and he turned around to face me

"thank you" I say, he nodded "any time" he said before exiting my room. as soon as he left I got out of bed and quickly changed out of my party dress into my pyjamas, I figured Clint or Tony must have carried me up here and took my shoes off for me. I crawled back into my bed wrapping the covers around me I nuzzled into the soft pillows on my bed and slowly drifted back into a uneasy sleep.

I awoke to the soft sun peeking through my window blinds, I rolled over placing a pillow over my head trying to avoid the sun from fully waking me up. I hear a little knock on my door, I sniffed the air trying to dapifer who was standing there. the smell of sandalwood mixed with cinnamon filled my nose and I smiled to myself as I realized it was Thor

"come in" I say sitting up, the door creaked open and Thor walked in, moving across sitting on my desk chair.

"I'm taking you out today at 12:00" Thor smiled, I laughed at him
