I walked out of my room closing my bedroom door behind me and started to walk down stairs where the rest of the team was waiting. I looked around the room to see Nat Tony Steve and thor suited up we where just waiting on Bruce and Clint. I found Thors eyes on me, his eyes slowly trailed my body up and down before his eyes found mine. I smirked at him and raised one eye brow and he just smiled at me and gestured me to come over to where he was standing.
I walked over to the god with a smile on my face, as I reached the god I felt two muscular arms wrap around my waist pulling me closer to his body. he rested his head on top of my own placing a kiss on it.
"how you feeling about the mission?" I asked
"I am feeling good. it is nothing have not done before" Thor answered. I realized when he spoke he always used proper grammar and never abbreviated words. which I kinda liked I found it very proper. I made a 'mhh' sound as I leant back into Thors body a bit more enjoying the feeling of his warm skin ageist my own.
"how about you my love?" Thor asked
"fine, sounds simple enough" I answer, but in truth I was feeling a tad nervous having to fight hydra again. last time that happened I got taken. what if I got taken again? what if some on get hurt? what if they took some on else this time? what if I got taken but this time the avengers didn't find me?. a multitude of these type of questions swirled around my mind
"I can tell your lying" Thor said in a soft voice indicating he was not mad that he had caught me in a lie. I sighed before spinning around to face Thor wrapping my arms around his neck, I rested my fore head agents his as his arms wrapped around my lower back.
"it just I'm worried, last time I saw hydra was when they got me. what if they take me again?" I ask letting the worry slip into my voice.
"darling nothing bad shall happen to you as long as I am here" Thor answered which made me fell a bit more at ease. I knew Thor would not let anything bad happen to me but that worried me, what if he got in harms way to save me and got himself hurt.
"thank you" I said before placing a quick kiss on his lips, his lips felt soft agents my own making a wave of safety rush through my body.
"i will always protect you love" thor answered as I pulled away
"as I will always protect you" I answered, I meant this I would always protect Thor. I had only known his for a little while but few people made me feel safe like he did.
"my love I do not need protection, I am a god. I am perfectly capable of protecting myself" Thor answered proudly which made a small smirk appear on my lips.
"ok big guy, looks like Clint and Brucei boy are here meaning its time to go" I answer Thor nodded gently taking my hand in his and I lead him out of the living room and out to where the Quinjet was waiting. I found a seat next to Nat and Thor sat down next to me my hand still in his, I smiled over at Nat who smiled back at me. Tony Clint and Bruce walked onto the Quinjet meaning Steve could start the engine. Clint and Bruce both found seats opposite to my own and Nat's, and Tony walked into the centre on the Quinjet making sure we could all see him before he started his pre mission talk.
"ok everyone remember the plan. me and Stevie boy over here go in get the sceptre and you guys make sure we are unbothered by any guards" Tony says looking around the room making sure everyone under stood. every one either nodded or said 'got it' or 'yep' or something to show they understood.
Tony nodded and walked up to the cock pit taking a seat next to Steve. I rested my head on Thors shoulder as the Quinjet took flight, I felt Thors hand rest on my high which made me feel calmer than before.
"did I tell you how good you looked in that suit of yours?" Thor whispered in my ear, a small blush creeped across my cheek as I felt butter flies in my stomach. I shifted my head slightly so I was face to face with Thor. I placed a light kiss on his cheek before returning to my previous position.
the flight was more or less silent. the team was doing last minute checks on there equipment making sure they where loaded up on ammunition and various weapons. men while me and Thor just sat there my head resting on his shoulder as his hand gripped my thigh. I had already sorted out my suit and I guessed thor just needed his hammer.
"five minute warning" Steve shouted from the cock pit, I sighed to myself lifting my head up off Thors shoulder and removing his hand from my thigh as I stood up. I looked down at Thor who had a slightly disappointed look spread across his face. soon we landed and the team gathered at the doors getting ready to fight.
the doors opened and the team ran out battling the agents. Tony flew over head towards to base as I started to fight two agents, I kicked one in the guts making the agent double over in pain. I quickly spun around my mother knife in hand as caught the guards punch that he had meant for my face. I tighten my grip on my knife as I plunged it deep into the guards stomach. once I finished with those guards I looked up to see Thor fighting off 4 or 5 with him hammer.
meanwhile the hulk is taking down the bunkers and Nat and Clint and off some wear fighting. I turned around to see gauds running towards me to fight me again, I sighed to myself before pulling out my gun and aiming it at the guards. I shot the front two in the head then chest then I fought the last one, I pinned his head in between my legs leaving him in a chock hold. I then took out my mothers dagger before plunging it deep into the guards gut.
I had never had a problem with killing, it was a part of who I was. As long as they where the bad guys and deserved it I would kill them without hesitation. most people would think this cruel but in a kill or be killed situation I would be the one to walk out alive.
"mother fucker" Tony said angrily over the coms "there's a barrier around the base". I didn't bother to say anything back since I knew Jarvis would be able to bring the barrier down it was just a matter of time.
"language" Steve says as I watch him ride his motorbike towards a bunker.
"tony do you think you'll be able to crack the barrier?" Nat askes sounding out of breath
"yep. are we gonna take note that Steve just said 'language'?" Tony asks and I can hear the smirk in his voice.
"I know... It just slipped out" Steve said sounding slightly annoyed as I watch him jump off his bike and throw it into the bunker he was heading towards.
