"YAH! Park Sunghoon, where were you?" He heard Jay’s voice ring in his ear as he took off his shoes.

"Just went out to meet a friend of mine." Sunghoon replied nonchalantly.

From the corner of his eyes, he could see Jay rubbing his temples.

"When Hyung is in his heat? That's not very Sunghoon of you. And taking care of the younger three was so hard! Sunghoon next time, give a heads up?" Jay nagged, going back to the kitchen to probably cook up something.

The faint smell of Heeseung’s sweet scent floated in the air, but no voices were heard.

It was already 7.36 p.m, he might be asleep by now.

"Is Heeseung Hyung alright?" Sunghoon decided to ask once he entered the living room.

Jungwon looked up from his phone, "Hyung's asleep now. Poor him, must've been tiring..." Niki looked up from his place on Jake’s lap.

The three were snuggled together on the long couch.

Jungwon at the very end, legs folded up to his chest as he continued to scroll through websites on his phone.

Jake was situated about an inch or two away from him, hands playing with Niki's hair as the latter laid on his lap, body taking up the rest of the space on the couch.

The news was playing on the television like a background music, no one really paying attention to the reporter talking about what the government has been up to.

"Eh? Sunghoon Hyung? Where have you been?" Niki asked, now sitting up.

"Just out with a friend of mine."

As soon as he said that, Jake’s gaze was now on him. He brushed it off as the older gave him a raise of the brow.

Jake knew about his not-so-secret crush on his hyung for a long time now.

He surely picked onto something.

Sunghoon wasn't one to not take care of his hyung, especially now since the love of his life was at his worst state of time.

"Oh yeah, where's Sunoo?" Sunghoon asked once again, shoving Niki's legs out of the couch so he could sit on it.

The younger instead placed his legs on Sunghoon's lap.

"Sunoo has been locked up in his room for a while. He came out to get some mint chocolate ice cream though!" Jake replied, fingers still carding through Niki's hair.

Sunghoon nodded absentmindedly.

The room felt heavy with somewhat unspoken tension.

Usually, their dorm was loud, and by loud, he means even-the-neighbour-had-to-make-a-report type of loud.

Everyone had been feeling uneasy since Heeseung’s presenting heat cycle.

It was quite sudden.

And everyone was worried for him, of course.

Just then, Jungwon gasped.

The other three on the couch immediately turned their attention to the leader.

"What?"

"Wait, turn on Channel 5 news!"

Jake fiddled with the remote before scrolling down to Channel 5. The one that's always up in idol's private lives.
