Ratchet x Rivet

A New Beginning

After defeating Dr. Nefarious and Emperor Nefarious everything was going fine until Ratchet was having second thoughts on what Kit had said about the future and if there is even a porpoise for him and when Clank found out about his family and his porpoise, he declined to be with him.

Ratchet's Perspective

"What if Kit was right maybe someday, I could try to find the Lombaxes and maybe Rivet can come too and Clank but no I couldn't just leave knowing that Dr. Nefarious is still on the loose not to mention this dimension needs us although Clank left his destiny to be with me." All these thoughts run though his head but then Rivet came and broke the silence. "So were to next I mean we've searched just about everywhere for Nefarious and still no sign of him" she said as she notices that Ratchet kept looking down in worry. "Or maybe we can try my dim- "right before she finished Ratchet spoke "I want to find The Lombax Dimension and find our race; our home and you can come too" And Rivet looked stunned as those words came out of his mouth. "Are you sure about that I mean I've never seen another Lombax aside from you, I won't know what to say" Rivet said shocked "Don't worry I've meet at least 2 Lombaxes and they were kind of nice to me so don't worry about it Rivet" Ratchet reassures Rivet. Ratchet starts to have flashbacks of Angela Cross and Alister Azimuth. Angela was nice but Alister tried to kill him in A.C.I.T. Millions of thoughts run though Rivet's head: is he for real, is he ok, and why do I blush around him!

Rivet's Perspective

"He wants to find our race, the lombaxes have their own dimension" throughs 2 thoughts run through her head and Ratchet looked like he really wanted to do it but she was a little uneasy about it and she had to give an answer but she didn't want to hurt his feelings so then she knew what to say "Ratchet I support you but don't you think that this is a little extreme I mean don't get me wrong I also want to meet our race but can we just wait maybe at least a week please?" Rivet hoped that she did not make him feel bad and notice that he smiled and said "Ok we'll wait till we are ready for the journey" he says with a smile as he hugs her and walks back to the ship were Kit and Clank are having a nice little chat. Rivet sat there wondering if maybe she and Ratchet could maybe be "compatible" for each other as Clank would say.
