A Decision Was Made

 After learning about Ratchet's guardians and who they were Rivet hade this one question still in her mind Who was Oasis and why was she important to ratchet so badly. "Who is Oasis, why did Ratchet never mention her, what happened to her, why is she so important to Ratchet" Millions of thoughts run though Rivet's head, and all added up to one person Ratchet because he did not mention her until Spinel brought it up and when she asked, he sounded sad and was crying like she was a family member of something? "Rivet" Clank asked for the second time, "Oh yeah sorry just thinking." Rivet replies, "Hey Clank why dose Ratchet never mention this Oasis girl because it seems like she was never even heard of until Spinel brought it up" Rivet says asking thinking since Clank was Ratchet's best friend maybe he'd know a thing or two, "No not really Ratchet never mentioned his past life or even spoke about it towards me but would feel comfortable around Spinel so maybe she'd know about I doute it cause she'd tend to keep things between her and Ratchet" Clank says as Rivet drops her ears and wonder why would Ratchet something like that a secret from his best friend? "Wow what is this place" Kit asked, "I remember this place before but were?" Ratchet and all of a sudden, he had a memory flash back of back when he was Orange Pearl and remembered he and Pink Pearl were here on a small mission for peach Diamond and that they were looking for the same girl that they were looking for now and then the flash back ended, and Ratchet stayed silent and then knock on the down and a pair of eyes appeared "What's the password?" It asked and Ratchet spoke "Masked Murder." And the down opened and just before she spoke the young cat like girl was shocked to see ratchet and just before speaking Ratchet whispered into her ear "Don't call me by my real name just call me Ratchet" Ratchet says as the girl nodded and spoke "Hello again Ratchet nice to see you again" the young girl says "Good to see you to Michi-Chan. Guys this is Michi-Chan but you can call her Michi for short and Michi this is Rivet, Kit, and Clank my friends and we need your help" Ratchet explains and Michi nods and lets them in and right before closing the door she made sure that no-one was watching in case they were followed. After Ratchet explained there problem Michi spoke "Well this is new even for Michi-Chan nay" Michi says as Rivet is about to ask why she is talking weird Ratchet whispers "Michi likes to talk in third person" Ratchet says but then a loud bam like an explosion of some sort just happened and destroyed the roof of the hideout and a spot light was formed over ratchet and Michi and the voice was spoken "Rebel 2875 Michi-Chan and Orange Pearl have been located" The Ships announces and those words shocked everyone including Clank cause he hear stories of two Pearls Disobeying the Diamond on Homeworld from Sigmund back at The Great Clock. "You were Orange Pearl all along" Clank says both mad a heart broken as a retractor bean pulls Michi and Ratchet towards the ship and just before Rivet can grab them it was too late; they had already been pulled in and the ship left. "Clank, Kit come on we have to help them" Rivet says as Kit agrees and hops on Rivets back but Clank stood there in shock that Ratchet had lied about who he was as not only a person but as a friend, "No I'm going" Clank says turning around, "what but he's you friends you have to help him" Rivet says with shock and anger, "No he lied to us about who he was and how can I help him after that huh" Clank shouts, "Fine then stay here but I'm going with or without you lets go Kit" Rivet says running after the ship. On the Ship Ratchet and Michi were being held prisoners. "Why would you lie about who you were Ratchet-kun?" Michi asked, "Because I was afraid, they'd don't want to be my friends anymore. And I didn't want to lose them like Oasis and my parents who I never knew." Ratchet says explaining why he hid who he was, "Well I excepted you Ratchet-Kun cause back home I was never really excepted either so we can be misfits together no matter who calls us names" Michi says and just as Ratchet is about to speak they hear a loud crash and out of the sunroof there's Rivet and Kit, "Rivet, Kit you came to save us" Ratchet says with rejoice, "Of Corse silly we would leave you behind right Kit" Rivet says right back, "Indeed" Kit replies, "Where's Clank?" Ratchet asked not seeing him, "Oh he is uh waiting for us back at camp just in case we need backup" Rivet says lying because she didn't want to hurt his feeling by saying that he didn't want to help cause he's a "traitor" and new that if Ratchet heard that Clank called him a traitor he would be crushed, and heartbroken that his best friend called him that.

After The Gang Came Back

After Rivet and Kit rescued ratchet and Michi Ratchet wondered why Clank didn't seem happy to see Ratchet? "Aren't you happy to see me pal" Ratchet only to be shocked to see Clank face full of anger, "Don't pal me Ratchet you lied about who you were!" Clank shouts at Ratchet, "Because I knew you would acted like this if I told you and I wanted to protect you" Ratchet explains, "Protect me from what" Clank ask only to be shouted at by Ratchet who had tears in his eyes, "FROM MATRON AND PEACH DAIMOND CAUSE IF SHE KNEW I WAS ALIVE SHE WOULD HUNT ME DOWN TILL I WAS SHATTERD(killed in other words) AND I DON'T WANT TO LOSE YOU LIKE I LOSE OASIS" Ratchet explains only to realize that what he said about Oasis and then covered his mouth only to clasps to his knees, "I just wanted to protect you from the same fate as her" Ratchet says with tears in his eyes and Rivet and Kit came over and gave Ratchet and hug, "Well you can't blame him for wanting to protect you now can you nay" Michi says, " You didn't tell so maybe I could help be ready in case that happens. So, you think that I'm a burden I'll go to were I'm no burden" Clank says taping his communication buttons, "What do you mean" Ratchet asked, "I'm going back to The Great Clock where I cannot such a burden to you. Sigmund make a portal at my location" Clank replies, "No no please no don't leave me you are all I have left please you were never a burden I always respected you please don't go" Ratchet begs, "I'm sorry but it's too late now" Clank says as the portal opens, "Well fine I don't need you anyway" Ratchet says going to the ship and Kit follows along with Michi since her home was kind of destroyed after the attack, "Please come with us Clank I don't know what we would do without you and I don't think that Ratchet can survive without you" Rivet says but Clank just starts to walk towards the portal before saying his last words, "I will not help a traitor and I think he'll manage just fine without me" Clank says as the portal behind closes.
