Grant's Point Of View

I stare at the man that is supposedly my dad as he looks at me. "What makes you say that kid?"

The door opened. "This is my foster son, you can't ask him questions without us being here." Sheila walked in. "We are his legal guardians."

"It's nothing like that Mrs. I'm just trying to see what happened to him. Trying to understand the situation." He explained to her.

"Okay then. If he isn't in any trouble then I'll be outside." She said. I mentally sighed in relief. I didn't want her here.

"Now what do you mean by that Grant? How could he possibly be your dad?" The other guy asked. "And how do you know?"

"Babies happen when a man and a woman come together and have sex, you're a big boy I thought you would know that." The guy looked shocked, "relax I'm kidding, I don't really have anyone, obviously, or I wouldn't be a foster kid. Anyways, I was found in a diner bathroom, a new born. I was a premature baby that was born at roughly 7 months. I had health problems, people don't want babies with health problems and so I didn't get adopted. I was found in that bathroom with nothing but a cover, the diaper I had on, and a picture of my parents." I told them. "I understand if you didn't want me. I'm totally cool with it. I just want to know why."

"Listen, if you are my kid, I didn't know anything about you. What's the girls name in the picture?" Dean asked.

"Lisa." I said. Remembering the names on the back of the picture. "It says Dean and Lisa on the back. That's all I know though." He looked shocked.

The nurse walked in with a smile on her face. "Could I get a test or whatever to see if he is my kid. It sounds weird but I need to know." Her face dropped a little, confusion written all over it as she turned to him.

"Yeah, I could see about getting a test." The nurse said awkwardly as she checks my charts and the blood they are slowly putting into my body and then she walked out.

"So? What would happen if you are my dad? Just wondering." I asked him.

"Well it depends." He said.

"On what?" I asked.

"I really have to see what's the best option for you." He said.

"Grant, thank god." Axel walked in with a big smile as he hugged my neck. "I'm so glad you're okay."

"Axel, there's a lot..." I told him. "I-It's a a lot." I told him.

"They are mad at me for coming up here with them." Axel said, motioning to my foster parents that are outside the door with the other agent, Drew Carlisle or whatever his fake name is.

Axel sat down on the side of the bed with a wide smile, the nurse walked in with some stuff in her hand and before she said something I looked at Axel and sighed, "could you go wait outside, please." His smile fell and he nodded, walking out.

The nurse sat some swabs on the table and opened one of the containers the swabs were in, she swabbed my mouth and then got another swab and swabbed Dean's mouth.

"We'll know in about a week." She said.

"I thought they took 1 to 2 days." Dean said.

"Well, there are a lot of different labs and other things like the DNA test being done, I'll try to get yours in sooner but it'll still probably be a week." She explained. "Now, We can probably let you go tomorrow, mid-day. We have to do the IV drip for around 48 hours and you were asleep all day yesterday, you'll get to use your arm again in around 7 weeks if everything goes to plan and around that same time since the break in your leg isn't too bad, 8 weeks and you won't have to wear that cast. You may need to make appointments with whatever your normal doctors office is for check ups but you're gonna be okay." She smiled, grabbing the swabs and walked out, telling my foster mom what she has just told us.

Sheila walked in after that with The guys Dean was with. "How are you feeling Grant?" She asked.

"I'm fine." I told her.

"Why didn't you come home after you got off work, you were probably hanging out with those potheads delinquents, weren't you? You are getting another 10 dollars deducted from your check and you are going to have more chores after you get better." She told me. "Why do you have to be so unruly?"

"Why can't you just be happy I'm alive? I was kidnapped on my way home from work, it's not my fault." I sigh. "Please leave, I'm sure this agent has some more questions he needs to ask me, right?" I asked my maybe dad, hoping he would get us out of this situation.

"I'm aloud to be in here for any questioning. I'm the legal guardian." She said.

"Please go." I begged her.

Her phone started to ring and she answered it, apparently the other person on the line was a case worker ready to bring them yet another kid. She had to go which I'm thankful for.

"Dang, another one?" I sighed. "How is it even possible to have 11 foster kids? There should be a limit or something."

"11 kids?" He asked. I nod.

"It's a hell hole, but definitely not as bad as some of my other foster homes. I've been in worse." I told him.

"Yeah, We have to talk about this situation Dean." He said.

"I know, Sam, this could be my kid, Lisa's kid.. I have so many questions.." Dean said.

I heard the door open, Cas, my case worker walked in.

"Cas?" Dean asked.

"You know him?" I asked them.

"You do?" They asked me.

"He's my case worker." I told them.

"There is a lot to explain here.. I know." Cas said. "I'll explain it all, but only to you Dean. He wouldn't understand some of the things unless you would like to enlighten him."

"Okay, Sam, stay here with Grant, I'll see what happened." Dean said and they walked out.

Dean's Point Of View

We walked out of the hospital room and then out of the hospital. We walked to the Impala and I leaned up against it. "What the hell Cas? You knew about him?"

"She doesn't know about the child. She has no knowledge of her pregnancy or the child that become of it. I erased her memory of you and in that time found out she was pregnant. I didn't want to have the confusion of how she got pregnant so I waited for the pregnancy to go to full term instead of terminating it against my better judgement. There were complications, making the child come two months before it's due date. It's lungs weren't fully developed so I decided to heal the lungs as much as possible, still not fully though. After the baby boy was born, I erased Lisa's memory once again, healed her body, and she went back to her normal life with Ben. I took the baby and a picture of you and Lisa and put it in a diner bathroom a few towns over for someone to find him. That child was Grant and you are his father. I'm sorry that I never told you." Cas looked at me and I just punched him. I was so mad.. he kept this from me. He kept the knowledge of my kid from me.

I walked back inside, my hand hurts but I ignored it. I'm so mad that he would keep this from me...
