Masquerade

   The school day was finally over and Hyunjin was exhausted.

   "Bye, guys. See you tomorrow." Hyunjin waved at his two friend closing the car door.

  They waved back driving off.

   Hyunjin entered the house. 

   "How was your first day of school?" His mom asked.

   Hyunjin's lips tugged into a smile.

  "Great. The kids there are nice." Hyunjin answered.

     His mom nodded.

  "I have some stuff to do. I will be back down for dinner." Hyunjin told his mom scurrying off.

  "Wait, Hyunjin don't forget, tomorrow night we are holding that masquerade ball." His mom reminded him.

   Hyunjin sighed nodding and going to his room.

    His sister was probably at her friend's house. Unlike him, she was happy to be home schooled, as long as she got to see her friends.

  Hyunjin grabbed the suit laid out on his bed for tomorrow and hung it on the hook near his closet.

    Sitting on his bed he pulled out the pamphlet Felix gave him.

   It basically stated the information that Felix gave him but, also some extra things.

    Overall it was definitely something that Hyunjin could possibly be interested in.

   Setting the pamphlet aside he grabbed his phone.

    Felix and Minho entered their home, fortunately for them their parents weren't home.

    Minho read over the note on the table.

   "What does it say?" Felix questioned taking a strawberry juice from the fridge.

    "Just reminding us that the masquerade is tomorrow and that our suits are already placed in our rooms. They'll be back later tonight." Minho told his little brother.

   Felix nodded.

     Lee Felix and Lee Minho are the sons of an Earl.

   The masquerade ball tomorrow marked the start of what Felix and his friends called mating season.

   Ambitious parents trying to get their kids together. Luckily in this day and age most were accepting of the fact that not everybody would be traditional.

   Once again it was only most not all. Like Felix and Minho's parents, they weren't accepting of it. So when both Felix and Minho came out it made them furious. Which resulted in both of them missing some school.

   Felix played off his broken arm as him falling and Minho played his bruised cheek off as him accidentally dropping his basketball on his face.

   But, that didn't stop the two from being confident in who they are.

   "What's going on with you and Seungmin?" Felix asked his older brother.

   Minho hummed looking at his younger brother.

    "I like him." Minho replied truthfully.

    "Be careful okay?" Felix muttered.

    "I will." Minho nodded.

   Felix gave the older a small smile deciding to head up to his room.

    The next day went by fast. It was now time for the masquerade.

    Felix evened out his navy blue suit. His hair was perfectly parted and resting on his forehead. He tied his mask around his head making sure to not disrupt his hair.

     Felix left his room meeting his brother.

  "Mom and Dad are waiting for us downstairs." Minho sighed.

    Felix nodded following his older brother down. Minho always made the younger male stand behind him when near their parents. He rather be the one to get hurt.

   Their parents didn't say anything to them rather they walked out of the house getting into the car waiting for them.

   Felix and Minho sighed following their parents to the car.

     Hyunjin looked in his mirror adjusting his outfit.

      He was wearing a white button up with some black pants and shoes along with a cape like over thing.

  His play with fire outfit.

    The knock on his bedroom door brought him from his little daze.

  "Come in!" He called out.

    His twin entered his room.

   "You look nice." He complimented Her.

   Yeji smiled pulling at one of her bouncy curls. She was wearing a pretty blue ballroom dress.

  "Thanks, you look alright. Mom wanted me to come see if you were ready." Yeji fixed her hair that fell when she put her mask on.

    Hyunjin hummed grabbing his own mask and tying it around his head making sure not to ruin his hair.

  "Yeah, I am ready." Hyunjin nodded.

    His twin gave him a small nodded leaving his room. Hyunjin let out a breath taking one final look at himself in the mirror before leaving his room.

    This will be a long night...
