The Perfect Gift

For as long as Katsuki can remember, Deku has always given him the perfect Christmas gift.

A Christmas gift that Katsuki actually wants and will use and not throw away after a couple of months like he does with the gifts his grandparents give him, (it's useless anyway and he doesn't use it, he already has enough junk in his bedroom).

Every single damn year the nerd would give him something good while Katsuki just gives him a Christmas card without writing anything on it, along with fifteen dollars.

Fucking pathetic.

You can't really blame him though, throughout those years Katsuki didn't like Deku and didn't think he should waste time picking a decent present for a useless, quirkless person like him. But at least he could've given him some more money to buy himself something nice. Fifteen dollars, what the hell are you supposed to buy with that little amount of money?

Well, a manga, pencils, chocolate...

But we don't talk about that.

The point is, Katsuki gave him shitty presents in the past and wanted to give him something better—no not better, the perfect gift.

The problem is...he has no fucking clue what to give him.

Here he was at the mall with the huge ass Christmas tree in the middle of the hallways, Christmas lights dangling off the railings, Christmas songs that you can faintly hear over all the noises the extras made and booths with products that's in the way of everything. Kirishima and Kaminari, his best friends (so says them) following behind him as he dashed between stores looking for the perfect gift, but yet found nothing good enough.

Kirishima would often say something like, "Bakugou! What do you think of this for Midoriya?"

Katsuki would inspect it for at the most two minutes before mumbling, "Not good enough," and rushing off to find something else.

What sucks even more is that Christmas is in two days, and the mall doesn't even open on Christmas Eve, so Katsuki has today and only today to buy his boyfriend something.

He would've just bought something days or weeks before but, he didn't have time to think about what to give him with his busy schedule of school, homework, training, cooking dinner for his classmates since they all somehow keep convincing him to, and attending those meetings with Deku and All Might about One for All.

He even asked Deku's mother for suggestions but what she said was not good enough, and he knew someone probably already got him the gift she mentioned since it was all he talked about in the previous months.

So Katsuki was at a loss.

With a heavy sigh, Katsuki sat down on a bench and put his elbows on his knees while leaning forward. "All I Want For Christmas Is You" was playing in the distance and for some reason, it ticked him off.

Kirishima and Kaminari sat on either sides of Katsuki.

"Hey man, we'll find him something. Let's just keep looking," Kirishima assured.

"Yeah! I'm sure there's something that's good enough!" Kaminari exclaimed as he looked around for any stores that they haven't looked in yet.

Katsuki groaned. "Shut the fuck up. Besides, I don't even know what he wants."

"Something with All Might duh," Kaminari commented.

Katsuki rolled his eyes as he leaned back. "Not good enough."

"Do you have anything your looking for? Like a preference?" Kirishima asked.
