“I’d watch myself if I were you, Jeon Jungkook. I have many connections here. Lots of friends. Don’t piss me off before you’ve even started.”
Jungkook glares back. “Are you insinuating that I’ll work here?”
Taehyung scoffs. “If you’re lucky I’ll let you be a fellow for the summer. Once I’m Vice President, of course.” Taehyung turns around and heads down the hallway.
“You’re supposed to show me around, Taehyung-ssi!” Jungkook calls out after him, voice dripping in frustration.
“Show yourself around,” Taehyung says back, turning around to meet Jungkook’s hard glare again. “If we’re lucky, you’ll get lost and fall off the building.”
Taehyung is in line to inherit the position of VP of Fashion Initiatives - part his father's huge corporation, following in the footsteps of his older brothers Seokjin and Namjoon. The only person who stands in his way is his former nemesis from high school, Jeon Jungkook: accomplished and cocky business school graduate, who is also going for the position.
But as the weeks go by, maybe Jungkook isn't such a complete tool after all. Maybe.
