SUMMARY:
it's 2500, after humans betrayed werewolves and spread a virus to curb them.
The progenitor( Jeongguk ) of werewolves is finally awakened when the curse upon him is lifted, as he comes back to this world he has two goals. To restore that survived and to find his soulmate whom he had lost a thousand years ago.
The story is divided into two timelines: of the past and the present and covers the development of the progenitor from an emotionally constipated ruler to an understanding and caring leader as well as a lover.
While the soulmate ( Taehyung ) on the other hand is a wanted thief and lives under the façade of a university student to secure himself. It is unknown to him until his 14th birthday that he is a werewolf, and had survived the virus outbreak. Since then he has been living with his guardian who informed him of his fate of already being someone's destined.
