"First, we'll need to get Stark to an isolated position" Hank remembered Nick had said as he drove away from Nick's house after leaving the Grimm at his destroyed place, where his vehicle was still nearby.

"I'll bait him." Hank had said

"It could be m-"

"No. This guy already got to your girlfriend. No way am I letting you be his bait."

"Okay. Do you know a spot where we can deal with him without interference?"

"Yeah. It's near an old mining gig. We won't be disturbed there."

"Good. Then you'll drop me off at my house so I can get my car" Nick remembered saying as he watched Hank roll away. A second later, a car's headlights shot to life, pulling up on the road in a hurry

"Hank, he's on your tail," Nick said on his radio, knowing Monroe ould hear it too on his own talkie-walkie.

"Then call it in" Hank responded, taking a sharp left turn on the street, due south"

Nick waited until he had climbed into his Land Cruiser and pulled up as well before activating his radio "Control, this off-duty Detective Burkhardt, badge number 110599. Log me in" he said as he turned left

"What for, Detective?"

"Detective Hank Griffin drove past my house and is pursued by Oleg Stark"

"Make and colour of Stark's vehicle?"

"Black sedan. He took a right turn and is going northbound of my residence. I begin pursuit."

GRIMM

"While we're luring Stark, you'll get to the quarry as fast as possible, with the gun" Monroe remembered that Nick had said as he laid in wait, the Siegbarst gun laid, loaded and ready, in its case on the ground beside him.

"Do I shoot right away?"

"No" the Grimm had shaken his head "We can't have you, or this riffle, involved officially"

"Then, when?" he remembered having asked as he saw Hank's car speed in the clearing they had chosen

"First, Hank and I are going to fill the bastard with bullets" Hank  knew that Nick had said in response as he got out of his car, pumping his shotgun

"I thought that regular bullets weren't enough to kill him" the older detective had pointed out

"They aren't" the Grimm had smirked evilly "But that doesn't mean he can't feel them"

"So... When I get there, it's Fire-at-will"

"Yes." Hank remembered his friend's words as Stark got out of his stolen car "Fire-at-will!"

With a vindictive sneer, Hank pulled the trigger, firing his first shell.

To none's surprise, Stark barely seemed to feel the hit, stopping only for a short second before he resumed his walk toward the detective. The latter pulled the trigger again, and again, and again, ultimately emptying his shotgun much too quickly.

"Griffin!" Stark howled when he came up to Hank's car. Only his years of experience built on reflexes allowed the detective to dive out of the way when the Seigbarst kicked the back of the car, sending it twirling a few feet away.

From where he was observing the fight from, even if he wasn't sure it could have been described as that, Monroe had to take a very deep breath and remember Nick's words to prevent himself from intervening "Monroe, no matter what, you have to wait until both of us are there before shooting"
