*a few years later...*

A/n: Sophie is now 18 and Eddie's and Gabby's son, Nicolás, is 19.

Sophie POV

"Sweetheart, wake up... Time for school" I opened my eyes to see mom at the door. I got up and went to the toilet and did my routine. I went downstairs and saw that mom had made breakfast, "yayy, my favourite. Thanks, mom" I said, "Your welcome, sweetie," she said as she gave me a glass of water. Once I was done eating, I heard a knock at the door. I then saw Nicolás at the door, "hey, ready?" He asked. I nod. I said goodbye to my parents before we went to the bus stop. Nicolás and I were childhood best friends, we are always there for each other. I have recently had feelings for him, but I didn't know if he feels the same. Plus, he is in a 3 months relationship with Jennifer, my enemy.

(A/n: Jennifer was your enemy, seen you join high school. Nicolás knew about your enemies but you didn't name anyone. Until now, you still didn't tell him that he was dating one of your worst enemies)

Soon, we reached the bus stop and saw Jennifer sitting at the bus stop. As we were waiting for the bus, Jennifer started to flirt with Nicolás. And he flirted back. I seat there furious and envious. As the thoughts started to wander in, the bus came. We board the bus and I seat behind the two love birds. I then put on my earpiece and played this...

Soon, we arrived at school. I went to my locker and grabbed my textbook. I then went to maths class.

As I enter the class, a paper plane came my way. It then landed at my foot. I open it and it says...

"Nicolás is mine, not yours. So stay the fuck away from him. If you want him, you should have made him yours before I came into the picture. You jerk!"

I look up and saw Jennifer and her friends talking among themselves. I seat at my table. I place my textbook, workbook, notebook, calculator, set square and pencil case neatly on my table. Soon, the lesson started.

*About an hour later...*

The bell soon rang, I grabbed my stuff and headed to my locker. I then headed to my next class, which was English.

As I went into class, someone shouted, "Sophie! Over here!". It was Nicolás. As I was walking to the table, Jennifer came out from nowhere and seat next to him. I then walk back to the front seat. The class then started.

*during lunch...*

I brought food and seat down at a table. Nicolás then came and sat next to me, "go sit with your girlfriend, she's probably lonely" I said, not making eye contact with him as I was upset. He look at the sky and said, "No, I want to seat with you... To make up for what happened in class this morning, plus, she's now my ex-girlfriend" I stopped playing with my food, 'did he really break up with her... Did he finally realise-' I stopped myself. Once we were done eating, I was about to grab my tray. But he took it and said, "I'll do it" I felt shocked. Why the sudden change... Soon, the bell rang and we went to class.

I then went to Chemistry class.

I went in, then the class started. The teacher said that we were doing an assignment and we needed to do it in pairs. He then paired me with my second worst enemy, Logan.

( Logan and Jennifer have been friends for the longest time until you came along. Soon, Jennifer decided to ruin your life by dating Nicolás. She knew you had feelings for him so she dated him to make you upset. Logan, on the other hand, was calling you the meanest and worst name he could think of)

"You have the last 20 minutes to discuss, what you are going to do for this assignment. Remember, this assignment is graded." Our chemistry teacher said. "So... What do you want to do?" I said, already feeling paranoid. "How about going to your place?" He said, "fine," I said. Soon, the class ended. Logan gave me a wink before going in a different direction. 'Blaargh, disgusting jerk' I thought to myself.

*end of the school day...*

As I was walking to my locker to put my things away, a voice from behind said, "let's go, beautiful ~" I turn and saw Logan. I rolled my eyes, "let's go" I said and just walked.

*at home...*

We were planning what to do when Logan leaned in. I pushed him away, "what are you doing?" I said. Soon, I heard a knock on my door. I open the door to see Nicolás, I signal to him and he knew what to do. "Hey babe," he said, kissing me on the forehead. For some reason, I felt something I never felt before. And soon, Logan left.

I was sitting on my bed when Nicolás spoke, "I know that you're wondering, why Jennifer and I broke up". "I didn't ask... But sure, you can tell me" I replied, eager to know why. "Don't act, like I couldn't read your face, this morning." He said. "What do you mean" I said, chuckling a little nervously at the end. He then continued, "The reason why I broke up with her was..."
