Snake's Best Buddy

The boys get themselves ready for their practice. Mr. Corden, Simon and Prof. Ed bring them to the wide yard behind the building. It was comfortable and safe as they got there. Some other staffs were lifting a black box.

"Louis, " Prof. Ed called Louis and gesture him to stand in the middle of the yard. While the staffs opened the box and freed a snake out of it.

Louis gulp in nervousness. He didn't imagined himself being close as this with a snake. If ever Prof. Ed didn't told him that his power was associated with snake he was sure he'll run as fast as he could to get as far away from the snake beside him right now.

"Think about petting a dog" Mr. Corden says walking slowly , he was a little bit far away from Louis, "You need to tame it, slowly approach it"

Louis did as he was told to. But the luck hasn't coming to him. Because as he was about to slowly approach the snake he tripped and fall to the ground.

The people around gasp. They are also nervous and afraid that the snake might bite Louis in the process.

But the snake quickly crawl to him to his neck and just stayed there like it wasn't afraid of him and it didn't bite him.

Louis' face break out a smile. He soon pet the snake like he was the owner of it.

"Very good, " Prof. Ed congratulated him after that, "It seems like you don't need to tame it, it was directly reaching out to you"

Louis smile back and pet the snake once more.

"But we need to do something more" Mr. Corden interrupted making everyone look at him, "Taylor, can you please hand Louis a squirrel?"

Taylor eventually nods and walk towards Louis handing him a squirrel.

Then Prof. Ed clasp his hands, "Now, I want you to command that snake around you to go back inside the box"

Louis stand there dumbfounded.
He doesn't know how to command a snake.
He wasn't a professional.

"Connect with it, Lou" Harry said with a cheer up tone.

Louis looks at the snake and at the box. Then he slowly raise his hand and points at the box. The snake seems like quickly getting what he means so it quickly crawl down Louis' body to the ground and crawl back inside the box then the staffs closes it.

"Yay! " Calum and Niall make a high five after Louis did that.

"Now, what will I'm going to do with this squirrel? " Louis ask looking at Prof. Ed.

"Bite it" Prof. Ed replied.

Suddenly everyone turn silent.

"Wait, what? " Louis crinkled his face at what he heard.

"Bite the squirrel" Prof. Ed said once more.

"Why would I do that?" Louis can't imagine himself biting an alive animal.

"We need to know if you are venomous like a snake" Simon said.

Louis hesitates but he slowly bring the squirrel to his mouth and bite it a little bit hard and let it go instantly.

The squirrel run away but only few seconds ago it dropped to the ground.

Taylor walk towards it and lift it up checking it.

"It was dead" Taylor told them.

Louis widen his eyes. His lips and teeth covered with some blood.

"You can kill with your venom in few seconds, that was impressive" Mr. Corden praises and clap his hands with the others.

Prof. Ed walk towards Louis and patted his shoulders.

"Your power had just been confirmed" Prof. Ed smilingly said, "You are the Snake's best buddy"

Louis smiled. While the boys approaches him and Harry hand him a tissue and mouthwash.

"That was amazing" Calum commented.

"Yeah, it was awesome to have an ability like snake have" Niall added and jump around.

"Told you that your power was special too" Harry chuckingly reminds him.

"Yeah, thank you" Louis smiled and laugh at Niall and Calum jumping around like idiots they are.

"I'm just nervous at my venom" Louis told the boys.

"Why? " Luke asks in confusion.

"If I have venom, is that mean I can't let anyone get contact of my saliva" Louis thought.

"Well, that's the problem" Ashton says with a sigh.

"Maybe Prof. Ed have answer for that? " Zayn suggests.

"Yeah, why don't we just ask him later about that after our practice? So that we can know about avoiding Louis' venom as possible" Liam agreed.

Louis groan in annoyance, "Sounds like I have disease! "

The boys laugh at what he said.

"I'll agree about that" Michael said

Then Simon walk towards them with Taylor.

"Good job, Louis" Simon congratulated Louis, "The snake's best buddy was finished, let's turn to the fire's best friend then"

Everyone turn to Michael with a surprise expression at the sudden spot light.

"Me? I'm the next one? " Michael ask in assurance.

"Yes you are," Simon chuckles and move aside to make room for Taylor beside him, "Taylor will assist you"

The boys furrowed their eyebrows.

"Why Michael needs assistance? " Ashton ask curiously.

"As you didn't all know, Prof. Ed told us that Michael's ability of controlling fire have consequence"

"What consequence? " Liam ask.

"He can't be in cold, he needs to warm himself before he use his power" Simon answered, "So Taylor needs to take him in a warm up"

"What warm up? " Niall ask too.

"She needs to do some exercises with him that might get his whole body filled with warm temperature, since exercising is giving our body to produce heat because of our movements" Simon answered and Taylor gestured Michael to follow her.

"Can we watch him? " Calum ask.

"Yeah sure" Simone responded and they all walk inside the building where Michael will start his warm up.
