Louis bit his lip and was roughly pushed up against the wall as Harry fumbled in the dark for Louis's zipper.
"Harry," Louis gasped, "what are you..." he swallowed another groan as Harry pressed their crotches together.
"I love you, Louis," Harry whispered, his husky breath tickling Louis's ear, "and tonight, I'm going to make you mine."
Louis tried not to react as Harry pulled off his shirt, his toned six pack and tattoos flexing with the movement.
"Harry," he managed, "you're drunk. Let's go home."
"But Louis, I do love you." Harry said softly, trying not to plaintively let his hurt show. "It's not that the alcohol is making me say things I don't mean, it's-- it's giving me the confidence to say things I wouldn't have been able to say before."
He cautiously walked his fingers slowly up Lou's leg, kissing up Louis's neck and rubbing their noses together. Louis groaned when he felt himself responding.
His mind flickered to where this night could go if he wasn't careful.
His mind flickered to Eleanor.
"Harry," he whispered, gasping as Harry squeezed his thigh.
Louis struggled under Harry's firm grip and burst out with the only thing he could think of, "Harry, this constitutes as rape!"
Harry halted. "Rape?" he slurred disgustedly. He pushed himself of the wall he had Louis pressed against. "Thanks. That's nice of you. I'm-I'm-- Rape. Okay. If that's how you're gonna be about it."
"Harry, what about Eleanor, and... Harry. Harry, don't be this way, I can't!"
Harry had practically ripped his shirt in two putting it back on and was walking quickly away.
"Harry, WAIT!!" Louis yelled. Half the club turned around for a split millisecond, and the world seemed to freeze for a moment. Harry looked back, his deep emerald eyes watery and his soft pink lips trembling.
"I'm sorry," Harry whispered, "Y-you're right, I guess I am pretty drunk. It doesn't change how I feel about you, but I... I'll just leave."
Louis's heart melted. He lunged forward and did the only thing he could think of-- he shoved Harry up against the wall and kissed the hell out of him.
He thrust all thoughts out of his mind and focused on the surreal feeling of Harry's lips pressed against his. It wasn't that much different from a girl, he decided.
Wait.
What was he doing?
He took a step back.
"Harry, I love you, but... We can't do this. I-- I need you and I don't want to lose you, but, just... Give me some time to figure things out, okay?"
Harry bit his lip and nodded, and started to walk away. He turned around.
"Aren't you coming?" looking at Louis, who still leaned numbly against the wall.
Louis wobbly smiled and followed Harry out of the club.
They sat through the taxi cab ride home in awkward silence, stumbling through the door.
Louis groaned, thinking of the hangover that lay ahead of him in the mornings.
Harry squeezed his eyes shut, cursing himself for zoning in on Louis's groan. His mind went to places it shouldn't have gone, and Harry mentally kicked himself.
Louis barely had time to untie his shoes before he turned around, panicking.
"Wait!" he whispered harshly, "Harry, you don't live here! You have to go before Eleanor sees y--"
"Louis!" Eleanor stepped lightly down the stairs, narrowing her eyes at Harry's bloodshot eyes, mussed hair, and wrinkled, disheveled clothes.
"What are you doing here? Why were you guys out so late?"
"We, uh, lost track of time," Harry began. "We took a cab here together so he wouldn't have to come back alone..?"
Eleanor pursed her lips. "Okay," she said, "Well bye, Harry. Be safe, will you?"
She shooed Harry out and took a deep breath. "I don't like this." She began, "but I trust you. Get to bed, okay?"
Lying next to Eleanor that languid September night, Louis felt very, very guilty.
_____________
Harry woke up with a bad taste in his mouth and an even worse headache.
As the memories from the night before flooded him, he whimpered and shoved a pillow over his head and screamed.
Oh, Harry, he whispered to himself. What have you done?
(Ok so tbh I'm not proud of this chapter and sorry if it sucked but yaknow it happens)
