You are the newsest member of the Karasuno Vollyball team and you meet an energetic carrot top named Shoyo. You were playing a big game against Aoba Johsai with the monster setter Oikawa. You also being a setter, you wanted to beat him so bad. And...
The game was very close, Oikawa was a monster setter, but you were a beast. You had just started playing volleyball a few weeks ago but seemed to be a natural! Constantly doing setter dumps which made this crowd go wild every time. Next up to set was you, and there was a lot riding on this one- this set was the last one your team needed, to win the game.
You had to win.
Okay, you can do this.
You took a deep breath and launched the ball into the air. With a swift jump, you slammed the ball on to the other teams side.. The ball popped, and there were marks on the floor from the quick contact. Same with your palm, it had a shallow gash through the center. But all that mattered to you in that moment, was the fact Karasuno won the big game against Aoba Johsai.
*Crowd cheering*
"YOU DID IT F/N!! WOOOOO KARASUNO!!! FLY HIGH KARASUNO!"
The game was broadcasted all over the news:
L/N , the newest member of the Karasuno Vollyball team has won the official big game against Aoba Johsai! With a beast of a setter dump, they win the game! Y/n has now been officially granted number 3 setter in the nation! They have only been playing for about 4 weeks, but still went up in the ranks with one hit!
"WOW! N/n! That was amazing!" The orange haired boy encouraged from beside you
"YESSS! SUGA DID YOU SEE THAT?! WHAT ABOUT YOU TSUKKI? THAT WAS AMAZING!" Yamaguci echoed off Shoyo vibrantly, expressing his up most joy and happiness
"Yes Yamaguci, I saw" Tsukki was salty that he couldn't have racked up those end points, but also happy he got to see Yamaguci smile like that. It made him smile too
Tour bus ride home: 10:34 PM
Noya was blasting 'Die Young' while everyone else was celebrating you and the whole win overall. You were sitting next to the one and only Shoyo Hinata while he was explaining to you how great you did and how proud they all were of you.

"Yeah L/n! You did so good! Here I have something for you! Let me just get my bag real quick!"
"O-okay!"
He stands up on the seat and grabs some chocolates from his carry on. The bad thing is... The carry on fell on your head..
"Owwwww!" You set out a yelp as all of Hinata's clothes fell out, and the hard shell of the carry on bashed the side of your head.
"ARE YOU OK L/N?!" Daichi was shocked, along with all the other boys on the bus. Noya shut off the music and came rushing to your rescue
"F/N! I'M HERE FOR YOUR RESCUE!"
Tadashi stopped the bus so they could help you
"Are you alright?" Coach Ukai ran over to you, while Hinata was cleaning up the contents of his bag
"I-i guess.."
"IM SO SORRY L/N!! ARE YOU OKAY?" He felt the side of your head to make sure you were okay
"I- I feel fine Shoyo.. It's okay! I'm okay!"
"H-here! C-chocolates to make you feel better!" Hinata handed you a light pink box of chocolates, along with an ice pack for your head
"Thank you Shoyo"
The bus started again and Noya continued with his 2000's music, blasting "Moves like Jagger" on the speakers. Everyone was chatting again, while you and Hinata sat in silence
"S-soo... Hmph?!" You rested you head on Hinata's shoulder
"Oh.." he blushed so hard in that very moment, if you saw him you would probably think he was going to blow up.

"Wow! Tokyo is so beautiful!" Tanaka jumped up and looked out his window following Shoyo's past statement
"It really is Hinata!"
You looked out the window and noticed really how beautiful it was.
How much you just wanted to look out the window for the rest of the night..
How much you wanted to stay with Shoyo..
How much you wanted to tell him your true feelings.

"Hey! We're home!..... KARASUNO WAKE THE FUCK UP!" Coach Ukai echoed through the whole bus. He sounded like the apple alarm. Most of you got your stuff and left the bus to walk home, while you, Shoyo, Tsukki, Yamaguci, Tanaka and Noya were still drowsy and half asleep.
"Oiiiii!!!" Ukai announced again as you all tiredly got up and left the bus. You and Shoyo lived across the street from each other, so you two walked home together. It was only the gentleman thing for him to do, as he thought of you as more than a friend. Even though he still hadn't told his true feelings.. He felt the same way you did...
And that happens to be the end of part one to the Hinata Shoyo x reader story! I will make a part two soon! I promise!
