The NCT dorm seemed off and everyone noticed, especially the other littles. Usually the dorms were loud and full of giggles and squeals, but recently it had just been silent. The littles didn't play as much anymore because their glue didn't play with them either. The glue? None other than the cute, bubbly, energetic, Ten.
He continuously kept himself cooped up in his and Johnny's room towards the back of the hall. Johnny knew something was wrong with his boyfriend, but he could never get Ten to admit nor did he want to force him to speak.
Johnny had just come home from a mini practice with Dong-hyuck, Renjun, and Hendery. He noticed Lucas, Mark, and Jisung quietly coloring and playing with LEGOs. The atmosphere wasn't exactly bright, but it was slightly better than normal.
The littles looked up from their entertainment and waved. Jisung wore a wide smile and ran up to his caregiver.
"Daddy!"
he exclaimed, hugging Dong-hyuck tight.
He hugs back, kissing the top of the little's head,
"Missed you too darling."
"Wan color wif me?"
"Of course. Let me shower and I'll be back, okay?"
Jisung nods happily and goes back to his artwork.
Johnny looked around a bit and sighed.
"No Ten today?"
he asks, crouching down to the boys' level.
They shook their heads with deep pouts.
"He pway fo wiwwe bi bu den wen ba oo woom,"
Lucas says, sadly.
Lucas was always the most bummed when it came to Ten not being around. He was his favorite playmate and most trusted friend.
Johnny ruffles the little's hair gently and gives a sympathetic smile.
"Lunch time boys,"
Taeyong says coming into the kitchen with a tray of sandwiches and juice for Jisung and Mark. Lucas' fruit was smashed a bit to aid him in consumption.
You see, Mark and Jisung were 3 and 4 while Lucas was 2.
The boys crowd around their shared blanket and happily accept the meal.
"Johnny, could you please take Ten his lunch? He may eat for you,"
Taeyong gives a hopeful smile as he mixes Lucas' oatmeal.
"What do you mean?"
Johnny questions, concerned by the leader's choice of words.
The leader passes the bowl off to Hendery. The male happily takes it and feeds the little.
Taeyong has the taller follow him into the kitchen.
