No ones POV* It'll be Christmas tomorrow and Riley was stressed out. It's 9:00 and Yara was on her way to the freeman's to see him. Lately the couple had been yelling and arguing a lot. The whole gang could tell there was a lot of sexual tension between them.
All this week Riley is acting different towards Yara. He gets irritated when she talks to him and he always had a attitude when the group was hanging out. Most of the time when she tries to show affection to him, he completely ignored her or he would move. She was tired of him and his attitude.
Yara POV* "How is it this cold and not snowed yet?" I thought to myself. I walked up the path and knocked on the door. It was opened by Huey.
"Hey Yara, are you looking for Riley?" "Hey Huey and yes I am is he here?" "No, he went to the store but he'll be back later if you want to wait for him." "Yes I would."
I walked into the house and sat on the couch with Huey right behind me.
"Yara I need your help with something." "Okay what is it?"
"Since we have to get each of all our friends one gift, what does Bri like? She is the last person I have to get a gift for and I would ask Caesar but I figured you knew her better."
"Oh okay, of course I'll help you!" I honestly was excited to help someone, Ive been so sad recently and this will get my mind off of things.
"When do you want to look for a gift? Christmas is tomorrow so..."
"We could go now if that's ok with you"
"Ight let's go then"
Time skip to the mall* Huey and I spent 3 hours and 45 minutes going into a bunch of different places looking for Bri's present. We decide to go in 'Bath and Body Works' to find a full set.
"I don't think you should get a winter themed scent. She's already got a lot of those."
"Okay what about....this one?" He asked holding up a peach scented lotion.
"Yeah that's perfect!" I said relieved that he finally picked something.
Huey grabbed a peaches scented lotion, perfume, shower gel, and candle. Oh god I didn't mean get all of the peach scent in the store but whatever.
He bought all the stuff and we were on our way to the house. We went inside and I helped him finish putting the bag together.
"Thank you Yara, Im sorry I dragged you around a mall for 3 hours but I'm glad I got to spend time with you." He said giving me a tiny smile. I was kinda surprised he smiled at me but his words made my day.
"It was technically 3 hours and 45 minutes but whatever. And thank you Huey, I wasn't really in a great mood when I came over here but spending time with you had made me feel a lot better."
After I said that his smile got wayyyy bigger. He smiled with his teeth and everything! I don't know what he is so happy about but if he's happy then I guess I'm happy too. I hugged him and he hugged me back. We stayed like that for a while.
