Danny's death has rattled everyone.
But everyone grieves differently.

Spencer is hyperfocusing on the crush she has on Alex, obviously. She probably doesn't even know what she's doing.

Danaia and Twain are fighting the police, pushing their son's homicide investigation to the top of the list. Their determination is inspiring, but not inspiring enough for me.

Alex, whether he knows it or not, is doing the same but opposite of Spencer. God, those two need healthier coping mechanisms. So do I, but that isn't my point.

Rowan, well, she isn't doing well. I mean, that's what's expected. She was completely in love with him. And he was ripped from her, way too soon.

Way too soon.

It's quiet as I'm heading to the vending machine in my dorm, the silent whirrs of the air conditioning is almost soothing.

There's a shadowing figure by the ice machine, just standing there.

I maneuver around the open doorway, and pull out three dollars. I scan the items, eventually deciding on a snickers bar and Sprite.

" Carmyn White." The familiar voice shocks me.

" I..." I slowly turn around, screaming at the familiar figure.

" You're... you're dead! How.....?" My breath hitches.

" A little bit of bad luck." Danny smiles.
