School. Farsight still couldn't believe she was going to school. And not just any school, but a school with all tribes! At least Blackout was coming too. But he is only one dragon. I won't know anybody else. Farsight thought. This was all too much. "I'm tired. I think I'm going to take a nap," she told her mother. "Okay dear," Shadowsong said. "But, you have to be up for lunch ok." "Ok," farsight said flopping onto her bed. "I will." Farsight fell asleep fast and had a wonderful dream about scrolls. "Farsight." someone wisped in her ear. "Hmmm?" she answered sleepily. "Wake up. it's time for lunch." Star said. "Coming," Farsight said getting up. After lunch, Farsight followed Star to her room to see the Painting of Bluemoon that she had been working on. "Wow!" Farsight said after looking at the painting, "You should defiantly show that to her when she comes tonight," "I totally will," Star replied. "I'm going to go continue my nap now," Farsight said yawning. "Are you okay? Is there a reason you're so tired?" Star asked her. "No reason." Farsight lied quickly. There was a reason, however, that she was so tired. It was because of the nightmare she had last night. It was about a tall Nightwing with an evil grin killing everyone in sight. She had teardrop scales near her eyes just like Farsight did. But, no matter how many times Farsight woke up and went back to sleep she still had the same nightmare. At least she thought it was a nightmare. She had very strange dreams and nightmares, and what was even stranger was that sometimes what happed in her nightmare or dream later happed in real life! She closed Stars door and went to her room. She then flopped onto her bed and again quickly fell asleep. She was dreaming that she was in a library. She pulled out a scroll from one of the shelves but before she could read it she fell into last night's nightmare. There was again that tall Nightwing killing left and right with an evil smile and this time she was killing Blackout and Star and mother and father. Farsight woke up suddenly and sat up. That. Was. Scary. Good thing it was, just a nightmare. Farsight got up and then went to her shelf and took the wooden box that had the word Jewels written on the front of it. Farsight walked over and put it on her bed. She opened the box and saw what she normally saw. Two rings, one gold and one silver, a pendant necklace, and a small sapphire earring. She didn't were jewelry very often. Only on special occasions. The only piece of jewelry that she did wear often was a heart locket. In fact, she had it on right now. It was kind of heavy and on the inside of the locket were the words You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. She wore it the most because it had been a gift to her mother who had gifted it to her. It had once belonged to a famous Nightwing named Moonwatcher and that was why it was so special to her. She smiled and put the box back on the shelf and decided to go back to sleep. She was having a good dream this time. It was about scavengers.

"Farsight. Farsight!" someone was shaking her shoulder. "Blackouts here." "He is?" Farsight said sleepily. "Come on," Star said. "Let's go." They walked into the living room where Blackout and his sister Bluemoon were waiting. "Blackout! Bluemoon!" Farsight exclaimed. "Happy hatching day Farsight" Bluemoon exclaimed before Blackout even opened his mouth. Bluemoon was Blackouts' odd little sister. She was black like any Nightwing but her underbelly and wings had a blue-ish tint to them even though she wasn't a hybrid. "Let's go to my room," Farsight said to Blackout. They walked to her room and as soon as they entered they said at the same time, "I have something to tell you!" "You go first." Farsight said trying not to listen to his thoughts. "Ok. I got accepted to Jade Mountain Academy!!!" Blackout exclaimed. "Oh!" farsight said pretending to be surprised. "You already knew, didn't you?" he said taking one look at farsight's face. "I um... yes." "How do you always know everything???" "The reason I knew, is because I'm going too!" "Really? Awesome!" Blackout said his face lighting up. "Dinner Time." Star said sticking her head through the door not even bothering to knock. "Coming." Farsight said. They all walked into the kitchen where the adults were waiting. Farsight took her dinner of boar and sat next to blackout. Halfway through dinner Shadowsong announced to everyone that Farsight had something to tell them. I do? She thought. Oh! Right school. "Um... I'm going to be attending Jade Mountain Academy." She said nervously. Farsight's dad smiled and so did Blackout's parents. Star asked if she was going to and when mother said no she sulked about it for the rest of dinner. When everyone finished their dinner, Star and Bluemoon went to the living room and Farsight and Blackout went back to her room. "It's so great to be talking to you, not through a window." Farsight joked. "Ya." he said and they both burst out laughing. "I have something for you." he said still laughing a little. "Bluemoon!" he yelled. "What?" She asked sticking her head through the door a moment later. "Go get farsight present, please." he said. "Why do I have to get your girlfriend's present? she asked hiding her smile. "What? Farsight is not my girlfriend!" he said flapping his wings. "You wish she was!" Bluemoon called from down the hall. "No I don't!" he called after her. "I don't," he informed Farsight. "You know I don't," She knew from his thoughts that he did, but she was going to ignore that for now. After about a minute Bluemoon stuck her head through the door again "Got it," she said as she walked into the room and handed Blackout a small box. "Thanks." he said smiling. "Bye." she said as she walked out of the room. "You didn't have to get me a present." Farsight said smiling at him. "Well, I did. I think you're going to like it." He said handing her the small box. It was as long as her talon and not much heavier than a scroll. She opened it and smiled. Inside were two amethyst earrings. "They're so pretty! Thank you so much!" Farsight exclaimed. "I knew you'd like it! Anyway, I can't believe we're going to the same school! Home school is so boring because there are no other dragonets. This is going to be so...Farsight? Farsight! Are you okay?!" Blackout yelled. She suddenly fell to the floor with a big headache. "Farsight? Farsight can you hear me? I'm going to go get your mom!" "No," she managed to say. "I'm fine," Then the world went dark. She was having the nightmare again. That tall Nightwing with the silver scale killing her family and friends. Farsight woke up suddenly hours later and sat up. She was in her room and her mother was sitting next to her. "What happened?" Farsight asked after a minute. "Well," her mother stated, "Blackout came to get me last night saying that you were acting weird so when I came to see what was up. When I came you were on the floor, out cold. So, I gave you a tranquilizer dart so you slept longer," "Oh, I'm fine now though. Can I have something to eat?" "Yes, come to the kitchen with me." As they walked into the empty kitchen together, Farsight realized how quiet it was. She asked, "Where's Star, and Father?" "They're outside, she's painting him a self-portrait." "Okay, can I have some hawk with blackberries?" "Sure," her mother said, "I think we still have some leftovers from a few nights ago," "Thanks." Farsight said with a sigh. Why? Why am I suddenly fainting?! What's wrong with me? "Here you go dear," said her mother handing her the plate. "Thanks, mom." Farsight said still wondering what was wrong with her. "Aren't you supposed to be at work?" Farsight asked her mother. "I told them I was going to take today off too because my daughter wasn't feeling good." "You could have gone to work, I'm fine." "Are you sure dear?" "I'm sure, go." "Okay I'll go, I love you Farsight," She said walking out the door and into the rainforest. "Love you too Mom." Farsight finished her breakfast after a few minutes and then went to her room. She then proceeded to spend the day reading. She was trying to find as much as she could about mind readers and their powers. The only thing she found was about the Nightwing who once owned her locket. Moonwatcher. She had been a mindereader too. This made her feel a bit better. At dinner, her mother told her that she would be going to Jade Mountain Academe in three days. Three days, wow, that was soon. That night, she didn't have the nightmare and woke up feeling happy. The three days seemed like forever, but finally, it was time. She was going to school.
