The Beast

Chapter 4

"Before I'll let you go you should know that Aina had me implant a safety machenism in you so for both of our sakes don't be stupid once you're free, okay?" Tibi was already freeing him while saying that.

"I am on a alien ship, what would you call being stupid?" countered Gabriel, standing up he was finally made aware of the sheer size difference between him and her. He was at least 2 feet taller than Tibi and one foot taller than Pin who was still in position next to the door since Aina left, Gabriel almost forgot him because he neither talked nor made noises but Pin's focus was definitely on him.

"Just follow whatever I say and we won't have issues." Tibi was picking up the long white feathers she lost earlier.

"Aina send me." a new creature entered the room. It looked like A human but there were scales covering most of its body and its right arm was robotic. It's arms were full with clothes and what looked like some sort of medieval armor. "So this is the creature we bought. I heard you can talk so what's your name?"

"I'm Gabriel, may I ask what and who you are?" Gabriel was perplexed by the weird fish thingy before him.

The fish replied "I am Cardassy Hiwilu ex Tri Terra but everybody calls me Chip and yes my species is partly amphibious just accept it, gabriel." Chip emphasised the last part but Gabriel didn't care his prime objective right now was to not be naked in front of 3 strange creatures.

"Are those for me?" Gabriel pointed at the things Chip carried.

"No, I'm carrying clothes to the other giant warbeast in this room, I thought the gene manipulation didn't mess with your brain." Chip was obviously trying to get a rise out of him and he enjoys that somebody was trying to break the tension.

"What a way to provoke the most dangerous person in the room, how long do you think it would take me to kill you." Gabriel tried to continue but Chip cut him off.

"You know that I handbuilt the safety that Tibi implanted in you, right? This whole ship is practilly on a suicide mission to cause chaos, if i was scared of dying i wouldn't bet here" Chip said that very casually but her words hit him like a truck pulling him back into reality. He was abducted and alone.

Tibi noticed that her pet project changed expression, "Are you okay, Gabriel?"

He had to think long before answering but concluded that showing weakness wasn't smart: "What safety? you have all mentioned it but what is it?" On the bright side he was getting clothed.

"It's a small bomb that would not only explode but also spread a parasite throughout the rest of your remains if you somehow survive, if Aina sees fit.", He heard a weird sense of pride in Chips voice.

''THERE IS A BOMB INSIDE ME?!", he screamed once he realized what he just heard. Chip dropped the clothes and armor. Pin raised his gun at him but Tibi didn't react, she didn't even flinch. A familiar voice broke the moment, "Finish up back there and get him to me. It is time we had a proper talk" Aina's voice came from a device on Pin's chest.

The Rest of getting dressed happened in silence.
