Chapter one

Leon took the mail out of the mailbox, he was walking back to his house until he saw an envelope that had his name on it. "Hmm? What's this?" He was about to open it until he heard his mom call his name.

"Leon! Let's go, I don't have all day!" Leon huffed then walked back inside. "Hey mom, there's a letter for me!" He took his letter and put the rest of the mail on the coffee table,

He opened his letter carefully and read it, his face lighting up. "I got accepted into Hopes Peak!" he was jumping with joy, happy he got accepted into his dream collage.

"hon that's amazing, I'm so happy you got in!" His mom smiled, Leon felt like he was gonna cry. Leon immediately went to go pack his bags, he didn't pack much. just some clothes and a few hoodies. "ugh I'm so exited to leave, I might find friends! maybe even a girlfriend!" he giggled. He soon found himself getting sleepy, and the last thing he heard was the sound of rain falling before he fell into a deep sleep.

Time skip to a week later

Leon was in the kitchen eating cereal, before his cousin finally woke up looking more sad then usual.

"Yo hi Kanon! What's wrong? bad dream or somethin?" Kanon looked up at Leon, tears rolling down her face. "I don't want you to leave today! You're gonna be gone for so long!" Leon turned his head to their cousin and gave off a soft smile. "Awe hey, Kanon don't cry! I'll come to visit and shit like that, I'm not leaving forever!" Leon gave Kanon a tight hug before continuing to eat.

After a bit he looked at the clock, It was 12:55 AM. "oh shit I got to leave!" he quickly got up and went to his room to grab his bag. "Hey when mom comes home tell her I said "see ya!" alright, Kanon?" Kanon looked down at her shoes and nodded, and just like that, Leon was out the door.

When Leon got to his new collage, he sat in the gym waiting for the entrance ceremony to start. Then that's when a girl with bright blue hair came up to him. "Hey can I sit her? Sorry everywhere else is taken!" Leon nodded and the girl sat down. "My names Sayaka by the way! Sayaka Maizono!" Leon smiled at Sayaka, holding onto his bag. "Yo, the names Leon Kuwata!" Staff came into the gym and introduced themselves.

A short time skip

Before the ceremony ended one of the staff said something on the microphone. "Before you head to your class, please grab one of these papers on the table. It says your dorm code and your dorm mate." Leon thought for a minute.

"Dorm mate? We got to share a room with someone?" He thought to himself. But he stood up and grabbed a paper.

"Ok so my dorm code is 109 and I'm sharing a room with...Makoto Naegi? Who's that?" That's when Sayaka wrapped her arms around Leon's shoulders from behind. "Makoto's my best friend! I think you'll like him!" Leon shrugged and after his classes he went to unpack his bags, That's when he encountered his dorm mate. "Oh, you must be Leon! Hi! I'm Makoto!" He smiled, Leon felt his chest feel heavy.

"oh...I-I mean oh hi! Yeah I'm Leon!" He smiled at Makoto before going to unpack his bags. Leon had no idea what he was feeling, but there's one thing he knew.

as long as Makoto's there, he will have an amazing time at hopes peak.
