The realization hit me...
Me: I... I... I broke.
S.D.: No you have not, you still have your mate, she reassures me.
But I want to escape..., I wine.
S.D.: Even if you do escape, where would you go?
Me: I don't know, just away from HIM!
Before S.D. could answer, I here a loud cough making me loose my conversation with Snowdrift. I look up to find Wil observing me.
"Why are you looking at me like that?", I ask him questionally.
"I am just wondering why you hate me so much, I mean, we are mates.."
"Just beause we are mates doesn't mean that I'll be caving into your charms any time soon."
"So you're saying that it will happen?"
"No." Yes. S.D. says.
"And why not?", he raises an eyebrow.
"Well.. let me see... You are keeping me prisoner here, note the present form, keeping. You let your Beta whip and torture me for no reason at all, and you won't even give me ONE OUNCE of your trust. Last I checked, mates are supposed to trust each other!", I point my finger at him accusingly.
"Well then, maybe you should listen to your own advice once in a while. The last time I trusted you, you ran away, so you have no right to tell me give me one ounce of your trust.", he yells at me.
S.D.: He does have a point.
Me: Whos side are you on?
She stays silent. GREAT, now I can't even trust my own wolf.
"Well, if you want to earn my trust again, you will accompany me to your welcome party, Without me forcing you!", he adds.
"If it's MY welcome party, then how come I didn't know about it?"
"Is that a yes?", he asks unsurely, ignores my last comment.
UNBELIEVABLE!!!
"Okay."
That wasn't me talking, that was my wolf. If she keeps going against me like this, she'll make my list.
"Great! Go take a shower. You'll find some clothes, sandals, essentials, you know.", he gives my a wide grin.
"Um, okay, I'll... I'll just go, to um, take a shower now", I am transfixed by his smile.
I bump into the wall next to the bathroom.
Wil smiles smirks at me, he knows the effect he has on me.
I quickly turn around, go into the bathroom, and shut the door.
Gosh, if his smile can do that to me, I'm not sure I'll last that long.
Stupid mate bond.
I'm pretty sure that that wasn't part of the mate bond, I think you're warming up to him, S.D. tells me smugingly.
Shut up, I glare at her mentally.
And with that I take one the best showers of my life... in a while of course.
